They're these jelly sweets sold by a department store chain called Marks and Spencer's - they're soooo yummy, but I think most kids growing up in England were bought them at one time or another :)

hmm let me think... maybe those little lolly pops that you have to dip in this little sweet and sour dust so when you put it in your mouth you feel little sparks and explosions inside your mouth and on your tongue. Goodtimes :D! haha
