Chillin' in our MWR tent because the air conditioning in my tent decided to start pumping hot air instead. It's like a sauna in there. Going to crash on a couch in here after tonight's flight. Huzzah!

Also, give my lovely wife @MussBunny some love. She's having to deal with some real roughness, and I can't be there to help, unfortunately.

First day of MMXI, and yet I'm still living Groundhog Day out here in Ja-Booty. Funny face to mix it up. Getting tired of putting up the same picture over and over. The deployment-stache is starting to make a comeback, though!

Checking emails and such after hookah and beer at the base's bar and before another night in the tent. Gotta love them Djibouti nights.

Also, my deployment-stache draws all the females to the patio. That is correct, it's far superior to yours.

Hookah purchased today in downtown Djibouti City. Sitting on the deck at 11 Degrees North across from the Christmas tree that was just lit.

Listening to Will complain about the AFN news anchors at the aptly named bar, 11 Degrees North. First day of work tomorrow, so...um...yay? Fun will be had by all, I'm sure. Updates to come.

This is what I look like after spending the day snorkeling with whale sharks and exploring a coral reef in the Gulf of Aden. Not a bad day on deployment, I must say.

"Enjoying" a beer at 11 Degrees North, the bar/general hangout spot here in Djibouti. Also one of the few places I can get wireless signal. Woot woot.

Also, the deployment-stache is coming in nicely. Stand by for further updates.
