What is YOUR OPINION on removing an ex from Facebook? ...

I know we won't get back together but I have known him for most of my life and he still considers us "friends". It bothers me that it's been a year since the breakup and i still get emotional when I see a freaking update from him. He has a girlfriend now and I don't want to seem immature for deleting him. But it hurts to see it. ...........thoughts?
