31st May 2012 - Two exams down, four to go!

The maths exam went well enough yesterday, not amazingly well, but hey, I'd be surprised if I did fail that one, I think I got at least 50% in it. It's amazing what maths lecturers will stick in with negative and decimal sheep and cows to try and jazz up simultaneous equations to be solved using Cramer's rule. I want to have whatever it is they're smoking.

It sadly dawned on me that it is not possible to physically absorb knowledge from books, even with the aid of gravity acting on it through one's head. And an interesting dream I had last night; I dreamt I had lost one of my forks in the shower to only wake up this morning and find that my fork was indeed missing from my drawer. What the hell, brain?

Next exam - Mechanics and Energy in six days' time.

28th May 2012 - One exam down, five to go :)

Why buy a whiteboard when you have a perfectly good surface to revise on that's already installed for free? Such a classic student thing, I'll be moving onto my windows and bathroom mirror next :3

Circuits, Devices and Systems went well today, I'd definitely got that 50% pass I need to stay on MEng and I feel I've probably got 65% at least. The circuits and devices half was a bit out of the blue, but then everyone found it hard, so no loss there.

Next exam: Maths, two days' time.

23rd May 2012 - I really ought to rename my profile as LaundryBooth, since I only really get around to snapping a picture whilst waiting for my washing xD Also, I can safely conclude that I booth more in the time leading up to end of year exams than at any other time; is this the ultimate procrastination tool in my belt?

This week has thus far been blue-skies, light breeze and in the region of 25'C. Positively decent and yet I'm stuck inside for just under another month before I can really go out and enjoy it to its fullest without feeing guilty; let's hope for my sanity's sake that the weather's still good when I'm done with exams!
