rental car has been returned, my car has been picked up, still needs body work, but, it runs again. it's turning out to be a rather nice, but still busy, day today, so, taking a few minutes to do some online shopping, more shoes and things...love being a zappos.com vip shopper :)
was looking at old photos and came across this one (taken 11.11.2001) with me. joey and tony (their mom took the picture) so, since i haven't talked to them in ages, called them, which made for a nice evening reminiscing on a nice long call...hard to believe tony just turned twenty and joey's going to be twelve this year...time sure flies by...wish they hadn't moved away, miss the dinners out, going to the cinema, amusement parks, etc. i really shouldn't look at old photos :| ho hum...
This rental car is really annoying...it reminds me that I shouldn't have driven a 42 year old car over dips at 100+ mph (though it was fun the moment i got airborne :P) and that I really want a new car...maybe once they put my old baby back together again I'll get one. then again, probably not, new cars in themselves are annoying what with the ding ding ding and all the crap on the dash...can't hardly see anything out the back, but, can really see the road out the front...feel like i should be able to see my feet out the front it's so short...kind of like driving around in a bumper car actually :| oh, and, it is kind of nice to drive a vehicle that gets more than 8 miles to the gallon, not that it really matters to me anyway xD
okay, can't sleep, so, reading...finally breaking down and reading a later, updated, corrected version of my fave first book of this series . wanted to see what's different from my 70's version and this 80's one. probably end up reading the whole series again, for the 100th plus time. yep, tuesday's going to be fun if i don't sleep, oh well... :P
hmm...succeeded in messing things up again : | i manage to either over think things or just go with a spur of the moment decision, so, no happy medium...either way, something always manages to get messed up. don't think i'll be getting much sleep tonight, so, will probably end up sleeping all of saturday away. had a good laugh though, a friend said that if i ever stop being neurotic, then they'll start worrying hehe well, it's time to start getting things back on track...what track that is, i don't know, but, it's heading somewhere...
hair be gone...bad picture because i'm using the "ruggedized" phone i got a couple weeks ago...it's water resistant, all nicely sealed and all, which is good since it's raining and i'm wet. at least the heavier rain stopped when i was half way to the rite aid where i went crazy and spent $80 on snacks, mostly chocolate...
oh, and, surprising as it is, the mp3 player on this phone is louder than my n97.
hope everyone had a nice weekend...going to go pig out now. then probably pass out from the sugar...
this week seems to be going so slow, but, it is thursday...feels like my eyes want to jump out of my head with all this paperwork. i'm really ready for the weekend, maybe a couple/few energy drinks will get me through the day today...and of course, monday is another holiday i don't get off work :P
and we have rain today...well, mist & fog right now...hope it pours down. it's wednesday and that means it's time to pig out for lunch...just don't know if i want pizza today...
still feel like crap, so, don't really care, but, yeah, 200th...though technically, should be past this, since i deleted first two months and started over again...whatever.
is it time to go home yet? oh, 9 more hours till i'm home :|
