Not sure how I'd choose...If It wasn't someone I knew personally probably just have a cup of coffee and get to talk to the person for an hr or so? Thats a toughy not sure :P
Funny you should mention it. I'm in the process of finding a third roomie right now. I stalk them online before they come look at the place. The internet is a wonderful thing...
nice tee shirt indeed.
I never had to worry about where and with whom because out of the sharing I did back in New Zealand or in France, I always ended up with a bunch of people whom it was a perfect match and when it was not, everyone was respecting the others. Which means we never had worries about who's working late or party that make noise, because one would ask before if okay or not with us, ditto with the kitchen and food, we had common spending and each had an own drawer for that special thing one loves that no one else does.
And ditto with cleaning and stuff, one would not leave a sink packed because he was careful enough to think of who is next to come in the kitchen.
Which is remarkable, is back to NZ, I was only 19 and so was the age of the others, and we had hell of a party when we would have to clean the house next day as far as cleaning out bits of food stuck to the ceiling.. but then again, although we could party hard and have a huge fun and smash and shout and everything, we were lucky enough to respect each others.
Obviously it was about the same in France a few years later.
Oh, and no one really planed how it would work out, anyone just thought if you can bend to respect other's then there is no worries... and there was not.
I was also the era of "Friends".. some good ten to fifteen year ago :)
a great idea indeed, i love stalking people and i love how my DB profile can tell so much about who i am. alot of people do have interesting Facebook profiles but i wish more had DB's :)
@recamel this might be random, but i LOVE your outfit so much!!!
absolutely love the shirt and the jeans are really nice too! :)
well, one of the main aspects for me is noise. how noisy is it in the surroundings, is there a highway next to it? a train station? a church with bells?
then, the people... well, just make sure you get along with them and that they are not total bums or dirty :S good luck :)
Decide what traits you would love to have in your roommates and which traits are deal breakers and make sure you touch upon both of the above topics when you chat with potential roommies :)
