My Valentine's 2012!
Yep, still with Kat, and this year she's decided to spoil me just rotten! Home made Valentine's heart cookies with melted Fox's Glacier sweets in the middle; Sherlock Holmes & The Kids Are All Right DVDs; smelly stuff and choccies, not to mention an adorable photo frame with our photo in; along with a really sweet letter and a card and you can't go wrong :')
In all, it's been a pretty awesome day, been lazing around watching God awful Disney Channel and eating sweets, and to be honest, there is nothing at all wrong with that! :'D
Now, I'm showing everyone how it's done on Cut the Rope, I'm owning this thing! ^.^
How has your Valentine's Day? Do you subscribe to the so-called 'commercial rubbish', or are you a softie at heart? (I sometimes wonder if the former is an excuse for those that are on their lonesome - but they aren't - friends are everywhere, just look out for the ones that will look out for you!)
I better get going - couple of articles as well as a truck load of photography coursework; maths and chemistry past papers; physics revision and geography homework to do.
That's tomorrow booked up.

Damp hair booth! Okay, yep, I had a shower at half past four in the afternoon. Don't judge me! XD
Today's been a moderately productive day. Well, using the term 'moderately' incredibly loosely :p
I wrapped Valentine's presents; wrote an article or two; printed off some photography and, as you can see behind me, de-cluttered a section of my room.
Yeah, I'm kinda creeping on my room here :P
I had a pile of books that was becoming stupidly high, so I turned it on its side and tidied the top of the chest, and also did some cleaning of the shelves above it.
Still to do:
-Write Valentine's card
-Stick in the photography I printed out
-Maybe write another article
-Sort out the photos that I took yesterday in town :3
Time to actually start being properly productive!5 comments1 day 6 hours ago

So the last time I was here I was discussing a script.
Now I've done my thumb in. Not, I might add, as a result of the script stuff.
PE, due to the snow, was inside, and we were basketballing. The ball managed to hit my thumb dead on and yeah. Ouch. I can't type now, thanks to this bloody bandage >.<
I can't move it too much without it hurting from the joint nearest the nail, and mum wants me to go into hospital tomorrow but I'm not too sure :p Bloody hurts nonetheless, though!
In other news, I've got a geography revision book from Amazon that came yesterday (didn't think to booth - apologies). I've also got a ton of coursework in multiple subjects and loads of revision to be doing over half term... That'll be fun!
Not much else to report, thankfully, typing is painful and arduous, now. Fairly uneventful over the last several days, to be honest.4 comments4 days 7 hours ago

I can has a script!
Well, it's actually the second script, but the first one for another project I'll be boothing about later this week.
Back to this one, the real focus.
I'm learning this script for tomorrow's performance. The task was, for our English Roleplay thingy, to make a scene as a sort of extension from the play we're studying -- 'An Inspector Calls'.
I came up with the idea, and my best mate Ethan wrote the script for it, and I typed it up and made it look all official and everything and here it is!
So yeah, I'm the Inspector (WOO!) and am learning my lines tonight ^_^
Also today, I'm taking part in the Expressive Arts (drama, music, art) house competition, which is certainly making out to be very interesting. I'll booth about the performance, but we did the dress rehearsal today and I got to go in the control box for our theatre! It's really swish :3 Loads of buttons, lights and sliders and I'm doing the sound! It didn't go too badly, really, now I know what I'm doing. Just hope I don't miss my cues!
Lots of photography, as well as that English, to do tonight. Fun!0 commentsJanuary 31st, 2012

Oops.
That's all I'll say in response to missing out these last few days of boothing. I just couldn't find anything to booth about and my phone's been driving me insane.
I got my unlocking code from Tesco, but they didn't tell me how to put it in properly so now I've gone and hardlocked my phone so need to either find some software to reset the counter or input the code via that; or go into Nokia and get them to do it for me; or get a new phone. The latter I don't wish to be doing as that'll cost money and I can't be asked, having paid for my Giffgaff stuff already (d'oh!).
Back to the present, and I've got a truck load of photography still to do, as I've been bone idle today trying to fix my phone (to no avail).
I've done my maths and geography homework, though - just about.
I got an iTunes voucher for Christmas, so spent that today on several games. Previously, I've just had the Lite version of a load of games on my iPod, so now I've got the full versions with about a tenner left on the card! This one, for instance, Cut the Rope, I'm kinda addicted to...
Fruit Ninja, Temple Run (I hate to admit it, it's rubbish but awfully addictive), Rolando and of course the almighty Angry Birds are all now in their full version glory on my iPod, and at the very least able to kill some time and be amazingly addictive.
I watched Karen Gillan in 'We'll Take Manhattan' the other night. Incredible. Absolutely brilliant.
Yeah, erm, that's about it for me.
If you're a phone expert: How can I sort my phone out? See paragraph 3.
If you have an iOS device: What's your favourite application?!
If none of those questions apply to you, or you just fancy answering more than one (you greedy so and so): How are you, and what have you done today? :D0 commentsJanuary 29th, 2012

Here's yet another picture of me holding up some kind of book - there have been so many recently!
It's my exam sketchbook for photography. On top of the two sketchbooks I'm doing for my coursework, I've got three weeks to fill this one here up with literally anything and everything I can possibly find relating to Cityscapes (artist research, ideas, plans, developments, contacts, final prints).
I also need to use tomorrow to write up my personal statement for my sixth form application, telling the school how amazing I am.
Today was rather fantastic! Although I was fretting, forgot my seat number (the floorplan didn't help anyone) and needed the loo, the geography exam went really well! I'd spent lesson 3 revising (we were told there was nothing better for us to do, seeing as we had the exam, and Citzenship is a waste of all our time), as well as the geography lesson. Really easy, for me, got the questions I wanted and flew through it! Kept to the point, too -- no rambling.
Malteser cake, too, was a surprise when I got home, as well as pasta bake for dinner; seeing Kat after school and had a very relaxing evening all in all. Masterchef was great, too. I really need to learn to cook, and cook well. But cooking in itself will do for the time being :P
I really need to do some photography. Relaxation time is over.0 commentsJanuary 24th, 2012

Tomorrow, a geography exam - Decision Making Exercise - worth 25% of my overall GCSE grade.
Me right now? Slightly nervous. Though the fact that we had the ability to do practice questions that may well appear (or modifications of them) in the actual paper has made me slightly more confident in my abilities.
Now, however, I need to read this. My geography teacher has generously compiled all the revision notes that she possibly can into this: 2 double sided A3 sheets of the densest notes known to man.
My mission, read it.
It's so unbelievably dull.
Got to sit through most of tomorrow - including double chemistry, *yawn* - until my exam at 2PM, meaning I miss most of photography. Worst. Timing. Ever.
Ah well.
Wish me luck! >.<5 commentsJanuary 23rd, 2012

Today was fairly straightforward:
- Went to watch my brothers play in their second basketball tournament (they came 3rd out of 4, but had to give the other teams a chance as they won the first tournament outright ;D)
- Had a haircut
- Did a little photography coursework
- Read some Sherlock Holmes
In the evening, however... I went out for a meal! With the lovely Kat, as can be seen in the picture. I managed to find myself this lovely piece of shirt and coupled with a haircut, it's not too shabby :')
Starter: Breaded mushrooms with salad
Main: Properly spicy piri piri chicken with chips
Dessert: Raspberry ripple arctic roll-like thing in raspberry juice sauce, served with raspberries and raspberry-mixed whipped cream (yep, raspberry overload - good job I like raspberries!)
To be quite honest, it was a really fantastic evening out! Great food, great company, great laughs, and just generally perfect.
I've mentioned the word 'raspberry' far too many times in this booth XD
Need to get a load of photography that I missed out on doing due to the basketball done this evening, though.
Hope you've all had a good day!

Watched 'The Time Traveler's Wife' this evening.
By God, the book is far superior. Dear anyone who's watched that film and thought it was rubbish,
Read the book.
It explains everything. It actually gives a decent backstory to characters. It doesn't leave gaping holes and questions being asked left, right and centre.
Yeah, I wasn't a fan. I mean, the cast themselves are quite beautiful, and it's not too too bad, but it just doesn't go as in depth as I'd have liked it to.
The book itself is pure genius, just not done to justice in the film.
Anyhow, today was pretty dull. PE involved playing football: outside, in the rain. Not fun.
Biology was boring as usual.
French was pretty cool though - always is really, get stuff done and have a laugh. Sit next to my best friend and have the best teacher ^.^
Maths was dire. Apparently it's appropriate for us to be going through year 8 work, instead of the stupidly high mark questions that no one understands or got right in the mock exam. Logic works.
The weekend should be good. Fair amount of free time to get a load of photography done tomorrow afternoon, amongst some other stuff. Going out for a meal in the evening (WOO).
Sunday I'm going round Sam's house to join Nearside in band practice. They might have a gig! More on that as it happens.
Anything vaguely happen to you guys today?6 commentsJanuary 20th, 2012

It's the bit on the front of the box that you can't see here (and that I paid no attention to when I got the phone) that appears to be very important.
"I'm locked to the Tesco network."
Yes, yes, go away. At long last, I gave Tesco's Customer Care team a ring to see if I could get an unlocking code to move over to GiffGaff. I'm falling low on credit (87p) and need some good deals and need to swap over my SIM card.
After dealing with the woman from the North with a really bad cold and who was really slow at typing; being put on hold twice to listen to the quite dire hold music; and hung up on by the first woman, I got told my unlocking code was on its way! .... Sometime in the next 28 days.
Really, Tesco? Can't you just give me the code NOW so I can switch over? That'd be lovely, you know, so I can actually use my bloody phone.
Apparently it should arrive in a week, but really. I've already been sans-phone for a week while i waited for them to call, twice (I was at school on both occasions), and now another week.
Ah well. It's probably the best they can do, so I'm grateful for being able to do it for free. Certainly looking forward to switching over, though -- almost excited! God, I have no life! XD
Anyhow, I have French coursework to write and photography coursework to crack on with. That is all!15 commentsJanuary 19th, 2012
