    First day working with my best friend at one of my favorite stores.
    I'm still a bit surprised to be going in today.
    I have some specific things on my mind right now:

    1. I'm so thankful to have a job! (getting laid off is NOT fun, in case you were wondering)
    2. I plan to be selling my own designs as a vendor to this store by the time I'm 23.
    3. I have so few blue things in my wardrobe, it's ridiculous!
    4. I kind of wish my name was "Ross" because I could just draw little pictures on the white area and an arrow pointing to the logo that says "it's my name too" :)
    5. Arcade Fire's "Funeral" album is completely delicious.

    Wish me luck! Anyone else work retail?

    Messy hair, a t-shirt like three sizes too big and a cup left over from my yummy, fast-food dinner (yes, I DID see that Food Inc film and yes, I AM in training for an 8k... shh!)
    Tonight I'm working on the final draft of the Winter/Christmas production. This years working title is "Box Blue" and it is the most complicated I've been involved with yet.
    When's the point when a writer starts to do it for a living? *sigh* some day all these weird ideas I have will play off pages on silver screens or stages near you... some day...


    Oh yea! And my nails are purple! For the first time in about 3 years, they are not red or pink! I kind of like it.
