    Beginning a 3o day photo challenge. This was originally meant for Facebook, but I'd rather do it here because it has to do with photos :) You guys should give it a try!

    Day 01 - A picture of yourself with ten facts

    1. My name is Sara.

    2. Yours is not... Unless it is. In that case, I think you have a lovely name. But I'm sure I think your name is lovely even if it's not "Sara".

    3. I have lived half of my life in Southern California and the other half in Northern Arizona so far.

    4. I love meeting new people and hearing their stories.

    5. I am a devout Christian.

    6. The sea is amazing.

    7. My most spoken nickname is "the doctor" (or "Doc" for short) even though I am one of only two people in my closest family that has not worked in some degree of the medical field. No one knows where it initially came from.

    8. When you smile, I smile.

    9. I primarily play two instruments. One I take very seriously (bass), the other helped me survive my childhood (the violin) and stays with me more for sentiment. I plan to better myself at the piano, drums and guitar. I would also like to learn how to play the harp and an undecided wind instrument at some point.

    1o. I love the standard set by the old adage "leave the place better than you found it".

    Ever get that really overwhelming, sickening feeling in your stomach?

    But once again, I'm drawn to hope... there are some lessons I've learned on my little detour that I don't think I would have gotten so early in life otherwise.

    This photo is kind of old, but I just found it again and felt the need to share it. I think I'll probably do an updated version of this photo sometime in the near future.

    I used to adore Tinkerbell before Disney started randomly whoring her out a few years back.
    Regardless, I truly do love the story of Peter Pan (...and yeah, I still do love Tinkerbell).
