Had a shave a bit. I'd tag the person I've tagged the last three booths about this, but, I don't want to keep crediting HIM.

@m3tam0rph0ze gets tagged today because of her awesome.

I'm in a real female vocalist mood at the moment.
Yesterday I discovered: Emiliana Torrini
Today I discovered: Tori Amos

Its all good.

Its a nice change from my obsessions with Regina Spektor and Patty Griffin.

Omg, I might propose or something.
    Tori Amos is like. Amazing.
She is also one of Neil Gaiman's best friends (my fav author).
She wrote some intro's to his books etcetera.

Caught a lite sneeze has to be my favourite from her.
    And then, Winter.

(also, if you don't mind French, try Emilie Simon.

@m3tam0rph0ze ;) haha But seriously... Tori Amos as well?! AND Winter is a favourite of yours? What is this trend thats going on?! Because that was one of the first songs I've listened to by her and I fell in love with it instantly. I may have to accept this proposal you know.

Emilie Simon I like, I can tolerate French from time to time :p I'll check out more from her.

@Phantasos, Tori Amos is very well known, you know and Winter is one of her most popular songs (along with A Sorta Fairytale and the newer Spark), it has a video as well (a ridiculous one, but video nontheless).

@m3tama0rph0ze haha silly me, so she is. Well either way, I didnt find that song through knowing it was popular :p
Also, I just discovered that she's great friends with Michael Stipe of R.E.M., which for me just blows my mind. That's awesome :|

Ooh and, have you ever listened to Trespassers William? If you havent I think you may like them, if you already have and don't approve of them.. umm.. *dramatic shrug*

@1963 If you say so! I've added them to a playlist, I'll listen later :P

@Hazelaine Bjork's a strange acknowledgement for me. I'll listen to one of her songs and then won't listen to another for AGES. I find it hard to keep interesting, but from what I've heard she's amazing, so I don't know why this interest keeps fading XD
PJ Harvey on the other hand, I've never heard of!

This is one of the weirdest performances I think I've ever heard.. Their voices are pretty weird together.

@Hazelaine oh wow that was fucking awesome. Love it! So is PJ Harvey's voice always that sexy low growl? I have to say I love women that sing in a lot lower in alternative rock music, à la Donita Sparks <3

@Phantasos yesss, she always sounds like that... I think it's the most prominent thing about her music. It's all very melow-sounding.. very good if you like that sort of thing (:
