Couldn't sleep at all last night so I postponed my train to see my mom. Watched the Daily Show and Colbert and the new White Collar. Read a lot out of my book about Tolkien's languages. Slept for 3 hours, then made grilled cheeses for my roommate and I while we watched Psych and the IT Crowd. I've spent the last 8 hours or so on my computer, talking with her and working on her homework assignment, which was to write 4 character bios for screenwriting. I wrote about a girl who gets paralyzed and a sentient iPad.

Can't really remember what I did today… Anna was sick so we watched the pilot of Alcatraz and White Collar. Watched a bit of Sherlock while my browser was frozen. Cooked dinner for Shireen and I. We talked about the Dear America and Royal Diaries book series and other things pertaining to her reading assignment about 1492. Also did some excessive wikipedia research on various exotic fruits, millet, and different names for clergy.

Watched a Buffy episode in the morning and then went with Shireen to USC so she could complete an assignment. We then went to Hollywood to see Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy, stopping at the Trader Joe's for snacks first. It is an incredibly amazing film, but so subtle that I feel like I haven't even seen it. Also, pretty much every actor in that film was recognizable. After getting dinner at this pseudo Greek place we spent the evening on IMDB looking up all the familiar actors. I spent a while on my computer and ended up watching the new SNL.

Woke up to my roommates watching Lost. We went to Target and bought stuff, went to Ralphs, and came back and I cooked stuffed chicken and bacon wrapped streak. We then watched the Sherlock finale (DAMN) and Shireen and I speculated about the ending. I have some theories I am quite confident in…
Looked up some things in my Sherlock Holmes book and then spent a few hours on the internet catching up on things.

Woke up and helped with Shireen's shoot for a school assignment. I got to throw a pitcher of water on Anna by the swimming pool. Shireen bought us sandwiches and then we shot more stuff with the green screen. Got the box set of the Little House on the Prairie books and started reading the first one. My mom left me a voicemail saying she supported my move to Vancouver, so yay progress. She then emailed me about job opportunities in her town. No progress?

Woke up at 6 and couldn't fall back asleep. When Shireen got home we watched some old SNLs and fixed the greenscreen. Called my mom and told her about my depression and my moving plans and she flipped a shit, saying how she needs to 'take this situation into control'. I wish I could make her understand that she has nothing to do with this and her involvement only makes me feel worse.
Apparently I missed January 12th.. whoops.

Spent the day researching various doctors for me, and doing more college application stuff. Helping Shireen make a film on Saturday, so we got out the greenscreen and steamed the wrinkles out of it by turning on the hot water in the shower. The entire bathroom is drenched now…
We all went to Ralph's then I made dinner and we *finally* watched the new Sherlock episode. Halfway through, Shireen stepped on glass and we played a game of Amateur Surgeon. I bought all of the books and electronics she needs on Amazon and now I'm off to bed.

Waited around for roommates to get home, then we talked about the associations we have with different states. I was pleased that I could still remember so many state capitals. They left to go to a club and I spent the evening on reddit. After they came back we talked to our friend Nicole about cyberpunk, Neuromancer, and Neil Stephenson. After they went to bed I couldn't sleep so I watched a lot of youtube… still doing that at 5am.

Had a stomachache so I barely ate today. Watched SNL, made dinner, and went to see a double feature of The Fifth Element and Cowboy Bebop and it was *awesome*. Came back at midnight and am currently watching the Daily Show.

Watched Skins, How I Met Your Mother, and Shameless while my roommates dyed each other's hair. The cat got curious and now has a bleached paw. The bottom of the shower is purple and I had to scrub blue dye off Shireen's back. Saw the new Once Upon a Time and an episode of the IT Crowd.
