Jubilee Day at school today.
'Why are you a girl?' was the question of the day. I just told them that it was Queenie Day...
Was fun swishing about in a dress, even if I needed the toilet for about 5 hours!
Bad News: I ended up being photographed by the local newspaper.
Good News; Half term now! Wooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!4 comments1 hour 20 minutes ago

Ever wake up and have one of those days where your hair just refuses to do what you want it to do?
Show me some bad hair photos. Don't have to be yours, can be of friends who don't know you are on Daily Booth and will never see it...Bwahahahahaha (No pictures of me though, that's just rude)19 comments1 day 1 hour ago

A lesbian seagull??
@lukeeee linked the song a while back and it got me thinking...seagulls are not easy to distinguish the sex of. Add to that the fact that they all look the same anyway...how does a seagull know if she is a lesbian, and how does one even work out which other seagulls are also females, let alone lesbians? She might start coming on to one only to find it is a male... I'm glad we don't have that problem. Imagine if Ellen were to come on to someone only to discover it isn't a lesbian but in fact Ricky Gervais (Who looks like a lesbian in need of a shave).

Incidentally, The Red Hot Chili Peppers song is good as well as Engelbert's song.

Swollen lips booth.
Eurovision was under discussion today with the kids (Don't worry, it tied in with lessons). Turkey: he can't sing. Engelbert: The lighting effect was good, but the song boring. Sweden: Nice beat but stupid dance moves and can't understand what she is singing. Ireland: They sing well enough to take part. (Hidden insult I think)
We also held our own Parkerboyovision with talent show clips and Eurovision style voting. Despite @ginosanchez thinking she had talent, Shirlena came last...I shared my disgust.
The clear winners were The Art Of Teknique

My hump, my hump, my hump, My lovely Engel Hump. Check him out!
I have to booth beforehand, because I know I will only be disappointed afterwards. If you are in Europe and not in the UK. Vote for Engelbert! The singing potato with lips needs your votes.

Semi Final 2 soon, make sure you are all quiet so I can watch in peace....The first had some great songs but the only real contender for a win were the Russian grannies. Hope there are more contenders tonight. (Hope Sara Cox does her hair and makeup today. Not sure she realised she was on camera presenting...in fact we know she didn't)
25 Years Of Eurovision: 2010
A great year for all but the UK (Not even the greatest Eurovision fan has a good word to say about Josh Dubovie's song). Sadly many good ones went out in the semis and not enough room here to link all the great ones. Sorry Greece....
Moldova: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fb-qZg4dfsA
(Loving the saxy moves. She needs a bit of work on her eye makeup)
Romania: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6OlG9g4-cyg
(Love the concept with the piano...great song)
Spain: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qhE84lb9BYQ
(A man invades the stage and the performance is so odd that no one seems to notice...how else can you explain the fact that it took so long for security to intervene?)34 comments1 week 16 minutes ago

Do many jobs involve getting slapped, punched and having chairs thrown at you? Once again, I was out of class when it happened. I tend to have a knack of not being there when it all kicks off.

Who will get through???
Got my European flags at the ready...only flag I have of the 18 acts tonight is the Greek one, so I guess I am supporting them. Hopefully the best ones won't go out. Let me know what you think of them all...

(Robocop....lol This song sums up many of the songs of the year)
Ukraine: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U4S4yWwN7KM
(Love this for several reasons; the light boxes, the head flicks, the blond guy, the song, the way three of them get up from lying down...)
So many great songs went out in the semis....Malta should have been high up in the final...voting public. Pfffft, no taste. I'm going to vote for Malta this year just because they were robbed...maybe it was karma for not giving Sonia 12 points in 1993.8 comments1 week 2 days ago
