    / Sundays!

Sundays are a good day for dealing with my substandard boothing.
Sundays are good for fixing my absence.

Sundays are good for going home to the family and Sundays are good for lunch.

Sundays are good for talking to old friends, and the ones you love the most.

Sundays are good for missing them too.

Sundays are good for taking a bath and driftng away.

Sundays are good for seeing all you's and asking what's up? How's your day??

Sundays are beautiful and mine's all for you.

    How are y'all peeps?
    How was you day?

/ This was the first photo I uploaded to MySpace way back in... What was it like 2005?

It really doesn't seem so long ago when you think of it as only 6 short years.

...hmmm it doesn't seem right when I think of all that happened between then and now. Every bit of living I've done happened since then. Every bit of dying too.

    Reflecting.

    That's what it's all about.

Reflecting on all you've been through; gone through.

In life so much happens so fast, reflect a little.

    I remember this photo is a happy memory;

I'd gone to visit a friend at university in Leicester and we'd had a silly drive down there. It was a time I was getting to know a girl called Kate *who incidentally I only ever met once, yet still have this strange place in my heart for anyone called Kate as a result*
She just sort of sums up that period in my memory. That girl is the first thing that comes to mind.
Then the room I was in when I took the photo, even now I can reconstruct it around me.
We stayed up through the night drinking and playing until in these uni dorms were scattered with passed out bodies and there's just my good friend Sam and I talking with an adorable 2nd year; who bizarrely started dancing for us.
Next thing I know I'm climbing into bed with this girl; stunned that somehow against the odds she's gonna do this with me, having never considered I might be the kind of guy that could go to bed with a perfect stranger.
The best bit is I was right and before things had become the filth story I'd thought they might this girl is crying open up to me.
To this day I don't know whether it was just an incredibly good way of turning me down or just the most bizarre foreplay I've come across!

I know that reads as nothing short of incoherrant memories poorly remembered by someone else.... but that's all we have after a while huh.

Anyway, what I'm getting at is maybe, do you have an old photo, something that reminds you of a time worlds ago?

A story of a time long gone?

    xoxo

"This must be a Thursday, I never did get the hang of Thursdays"

Crawling out of bed this morning I couldn't see the day ahead of me and by the time I'd fallen out the shower there was no vanity to style be hair or make the radar.
    I dressed down.
Boy it felt good. To just stumble from the house without a plan, not needing to look myself, for I'd be the only one in contact with me. London streets under my feet for a while.

I did lunch with a friend and that was a giggle, down the city farm with the pigs and sheepies!

    Home and pooped now!
So I'm gonna snuggle down with Biscuit and Big Brother!

How was your day this Thursday?

Anyone loving CBB on Five or just this buffoon?!

    Always Smiling

    Monster Truck Sunday!

It was one Sunday only. Sunday, Sunday!

I've never been a huge petrolhead, if one at all.

Watching these beasts happy slap each other and the multitude of well place junkyard debris had my testorone asurging and fists air pumping.

    A real buzz!

Plus the freestyle motocross, haha, well it bought out a side of my I've never really demonstrated before.

I think as I get older and continue selling out I'm getting more into 'blokey' things, like sports and machines.

Either that or I seriously need to get laid!

    hehehehe

Talking of which, I'm watching a seriously terrible movie; Meeet the Fockers. Despite it's magnificent lack of substance or comic value it does echo true, certainly on a personal level of vacationing with the metaphorical in laws.
That wanker father / jew in love with his daughter relationship.
Oh I don't know how to say it, but there's a warming familiarity in the idea of suffering a family you're so desperate to be a part of.

    Anyway;
    How were weekends guys?

    Always Smiling.

    Outatime.

We spent the day yesterday under the sun at the outdoor cinema enjoying Back to the Future.

One of my all time favourite films.

Heck it's one of our generations all time favourite films.

Such a fun movie to experience in that community setting; there's nothing like a good movie between nerds!

If you had a time machine... when would you go?

Now, I'm gonna try and avoid a self indulgent miserably peice here.

    I'm feeling the long summer.
Got to a place where I have to changes things a little; step up a gear.

You know, get fit, get employed, get famous, the usual swinging wants.

Thing is when we make that decission to change something there's almost always a physical change.

New hair cut, new car, grow a beard etc.
But I already grew my beard to make a point and let my hair grow out.
I also cut them off again!

    So what do I change???

What do you change to feel better???

/ Needing to be up early for a mid day appointments in the city it seemed absolutely sensible to, instead of sleeping soundly, sit up past five in the morning. Better still I wisely chose to spend the time not being productive or maybe working on the ever growing pile of daunting academia but instead colouring my sisters picture books in.

What did you get up to tonight?

Any one else playing with coloring books??

/ It’s been a long time since I had an all out knees up “blokey bloke” kinda night out… or at least it had.

Here I was set and primed to tackle such a night, heading out along east central London’s prime real estate to the night markets and CAMRA pubs.

We had a riot of a time, if you’ll pardon the late and dated tepid pun regards to the cities recent social zeitgeist!

Honestly though, it was nice to break responsibility and mentality for a few moments of ill adviced infantile behaviour.

Don’t you just need to misbehave on occasion??

There's been some neglagence on my behalf regards to boothing this week; it's simply been a wonderfully busy time.

Seven days of little other than film in some way or another.

Some great movies caught this week and some stinkers too.

Here we went to the Cowboys and Aliens UK premier... that was one of the stinkers! Haha, oh boy, yeah it really wasn't up to too much; long, drab post moderninst spectacle.... and the script was just too clumsy to get around.

Saw a film I'd been putting off due to an a genral dislike of Ellen Page but the movie managed to stay on the right side of the tracks when it comes to indie hollywood crossover and rather than being condescending and falsely hip "Super" was a cracking watch and I'd recommend it, plus it's written and directed by James Gunn who's rather popular at the moment.

Oooh we also went to see "Friends With Benefits" which was one of the other films worth mentioning as it was simply a sexy, friendly, fun, cheesey cliche rom com feell good packed full of surprising laughs. Justin Timberlake are two delightfully good looking people filled with charisma shooting easy laughs in what is a great little comedy in the shape of a formula rom com. Pus with excellent cameos from the like of Jason Segel, Andy Sandberg, Woody Harrelson and Emma Stone it's got a diversity of well liked actors throughout.

Other good thumbs up movies we watched include Your Highness, Repo Men, Sucker Punch, The Greatest Movie Ever sold and The Troll Hunter each for different reasonsm each I'd recommened.

    Best of the bunch?
Probably The Troll Hunter , yeah that one!

You guys seen any good movies lately?

See any of those? What you think to them??

    So!

This is me and a wonderful friend and neighbour of mine.

I remember the night we met was in a local pub called The Eagle -which it just so happens is the very same one recorded in the nursary rhyme 'pop goes the weasle'-. I was there with my flat mate Aaron and we were, of course quite drunkenly, playing cards. It's probably worth mentioning we're stupid bastards when we want to be and decided we'd wind this Australian girl and her Welsh mate up telling them all sorts of nonsense lies and such.
Next thing I remember is being back at the flat with everyone, each of us wearing a different colour kaftan from my wardrobe, drunkenly spilled across the floor.
It was wonderful, and we forged a great relationship that night.

I tell you that story only as now we're spitting paths.

We had our last drinks for some time last night as today she went back on the travel and it was goodbye to our first real neighbour and a truly great friend.

I haven't had to make a good bye for some time, but I can't say I'm fond of them when they come around.

How do you guys deal with goodbyes??

    Any tricks?

Also; we've been watching these riots unfolding on our back doorstep in London, a real low moment for England and even more so the communities of London. I've become very proud of my community over the years, but with this avoidable carnage it's truly not a day for pride more over distain.
To do something so vile and guise it so thinly behind what was already a tragedy.

Poor show Britain. The world has been watching.

    Did you catch the action??
