Hay @theKYEE I finely got around to scanning this drawing,
if you don't remember,we talked about it back in September 10th 2010 here http://dailybooth.com/OrobasArt/8081699
I'm planning on coloring it sometime soon but I don't think I'll be posting it on DB, this place was never really made for art and I'm getting a better response to my work on Tumblr. http://orobasart.tumblr.com
So I'll let you know when I post it there and I will credit you no matter what.
You were one of the first barefooter girls I found when I first got to DB back in the day, so posting this drawing is sorta a representation of beginning and end.
Oh and @toriface I've almost finished yours, even though it doesn't look like you anymore now that you cut your hair .. but keep an eye on the tumblr page as well.
Oh thanks for the inspiration girls.4 commentsMarch 4th, 2011

Today's the 6th and it's my Birthday
Friends on Facebook been making FEETS signs for me haha
With all the people who try so hard to be "normal" it's awesome to find cool people in the world that aren't and don't judge.

Asterius's last breath - Minotaur greek mythology sculpture (2008)

Asterion (Greek: Ἀστερίων) or Asterius (Greek: Ἀστέριος) mostly know as The MINOTAUROS (or Minotaur) was a bull-headed monster born to Queen Pasiphae of Krete after she had coupled with a bull.
The creature resided in the twisting maze of the labyrinth, where he was offered a regular sacrifice of youths and maids to satisfy his cannibalistic hunger. He was eventually destroyed by the hero Theseus.
Here I have depicted Asterion the Minotaur finding Theseus's thread while standing over the picture of his Mother Pasiphae nursing him on the floor beneath him the showing contrast moments before his death.
In this interpretation he was a intelligent creature, pushed to madness with life of pain and isolation, making him lose what little last shred of humanity he may of had. I tried showing this with scars from the years of abuse at the hands of his father King Minos.
If Asterion was truly a mindless Beast, why could his mother breastfeed him so tenderly? Here you see this in Pasiphae nursing him on the floor beneath him, I imagined that Pasiphaë had Daedalus place this image of her nursing him on the floor in hopes it would remind her malformed son of her love, sadly the years of living in the dark and abuse have left him too blind to ever see it.
In truth Theseus was not killing a monster but joining in on a cycle of tragedy.
