I am currently reading The Book of Other People, with contributions from Nick Hornby, Dave Eggers, David Mitchell, Jonathan Foer!

It's been a slow day. I've been up since 10, and have been lying in bed for with toast and coffee. But I think I'd better get up get up now. It's my turn to wash the dogs.

Received some certificate signed by Kevin Rudd + Anna Burke for STUDYING international studies this year in the mail yesterday. A certificate of participation? I found it so strange.

    Anyway :-)

I don't have access to my webcam atm, so here's a snap from muck up day instead. I was Tweedle Dum to my Dee. It happened just over a month ago, but I can barely remember anything; too much has happened since. Insane.

ANYWAY I had a Gilmore Girls marathon at a friend's today, starting from season 1. Maaan were they young, Jared Padalecki was a baby!
+ watched latest grey's anatomy and CHUCK (btw does that computer have the intersect on it, cos ellie and awesome..)

Then when I came home a couple of hours ago, my pregnant cousin and her husband + dad's sister were over visiting - I'm to be an aunt in 6 weeks. I myself am carrying a bit of a food baby. Mm yeah. I'm kinda pooped right now. And have nothing more interesting to say.

    Spock out!

BORDERS IS MY FAVOURITE PLACE IN THE WORLD!

Jules Casablancas, Flight of the Conchords, Primal Scream, Keane, Guillemots CDs + Zadie Smith, Peter Carey, John Updike and Star Trek the Ultimate edition books = $37
because apparently CDs just aren't profitable anymore. I'd've bought more had I not been short on cash.

ALSO I saw DEATHLY HALLOWS and it was unbelievable! Honestly, best HP movie yet, I want to see it again. @amelia, you're coming, you cannot watch it on DVD, you cannot!

Um, also I bought a wonderful green leather bag from vinnies for $5, but as I was washing it, realised that my phone was still inside.. so I've lost most of my contacts now. PLEASE if you've my no. msg me with your name!

And um, what else. I tried my first Hungry Jacks vegie burger and it was gooood. And that's it.

    MOVEMBER comment peeps!

Okay, so I'm trying to continue the movember theme here, but I really really suck at the pen balancing on the upper lip thing (five tries, to no avail).

Wanna help me? I'll try again later.

So tomorrow, I got a date with HAZZA P and some mouldy voldy horcruxes. I've had to reschedule twice, but I am so excited. I know you've all seen it by now, did it blow your mind?

33 days till Christmas. HAVE YOU STARTED YOUR SHOPPING YET. You better have.

    Kirk out!

Eh bonjour mes amis! Long time no freaking see!

I am now a highschool graduate, and basking in post-exam afterglow, not drinking tea from my stache cup and just about to leave for Christmas shopping.

I need my learners permit still.

What's been a happening? Do tell!
Highschool no more, getaway plans for vacay?

    Alpha60, GPO in Melbourne.
    Who spies Anna Karina?

I have been reading up on uni courses, and after a brief moment of clarity after yesterday's visit to Melbourne Uni open day, I am yet again feeling very, very, very undecided.

To my fellow boothers who live in the Asia, US of A and Europe, if any of you are/were an undergraduate arts student, with all this major/minor nonsense, could you please shed some much needed light on the degree? Well your experience.

I'm pretty sure Melbourne Uni is the only one in Australia that has adopted this model across all its faculties. All the other unis are, "Bach of Psychology" or "Bach of Law". Oh my brain hurts.

Actually, while you're here, would you mind :-)
    1. what degree are you studying?
    2. majors/minors?
    3. why do you call it college?
    4. subway or McD?

My bloody webcam needs repair, raîson ne pas d'être dans une photographie.

Instead I give you a picture that I took with my Golden Half of Desgraves Cafe - place of many headache-inducing conversations about the universe, the greatness of Thom Yorke, the political assassination of KRudd and Scott Pilgrim vs the World.

Actually, not that last one. But I did see it yesterday in a nearly empty cinema (six), munching on jelly cups and buttery salted popcorn. Oh Micheal Cera, (sigh). And I saw Inception last Saturday, which blew my minddddddd away.

Seen them yet? Thoughts? Feelings? of love?
    Muchos.

I saw these lovely men last night, as I have been waiting to do so for six years. THEY WERE AMAZING AMAZING I very nearly lost my voice. Am in recovery.
First supporting act was Gypsy and the Cat, Melbourne boys who are based in the UK. They began at 7.30, and (fortunately for us loyals) with the venue at about half capacity. The Like were seriously underwhelming.

AND then FINALLY out comes Jules in leather, and Albert in a white suit and NEW YORK CITY COPS. Ohhhhmygravy love.

My good friend under the alias of Andrea Canterbury and I were sitting next to an Irishman with Fab's hair (originally Albert's but it's been cut off now) + his Josh Thomas with glasses and iPhone 4 lookalike friend. I thought the pair to be very nice, although Andrea had some very disturbing accounts about them to tell me after the show.

Also being a short short 154cm, I spent most of the night leaning on the seat of the lower tier infront of us. I now sport nasty bruises right along the length of my legs.
