Haha, I've had the exactly same problem, when I grew mine long. As long as the hair hasn't got the right length, one's look is sometimes (more or less often^^) really horrible and one feels pretty uncomfortable, which actually sucks.
But long hair doesn't suit me either, so I nearly cut them to 2 or 3 mm every two weeks by myself. It's the only look that suits me. 8)
And listen sweety, it doesn't matter how long your hair is, you've got a pretty face and a beautiful smile, a lot of girls would actually kill for that, so do whatever you want, as long as you feel happy! 8)
