I am choosing to laugh.
My goodness, the way things are so ridiculous and counter-productive laughter is the only appropriate response. Being strung along at work, I decided to make known my intention to go for another job in the office. Let me just say that it was like watching a spinning top; people have been so nosy lately, everyone seems to know : i) that I do too much and ii) that I am unhappy. Today’s reaction was priceless, even though it was my plain honesty that set it in motion. There are also some jobs on-line that are mildly promising, as well as a change.
Sorry for the work talk, it was just amusing. Have a picture of me in my usual state of elegant repose…

Psychosomatic reaction to whiny stress = boiling in my own skin.
I was doing well and then my mood kind of plummeted. Anyway, I ate well enough, watched psychoanalytic/depressing shows and drank full-fat milk. Converting my recordings has gone well though. My ability to be around people right now… Less so.

The saying goes that a picture is worth a thousand words…
Apparently they are all permutations of ‘cross-eyed’. xD After an awkward sleep filled with work-based dreams/worries, lounging in bed finally gave me the relaxation that I was craving. To celebrate I indulged in vanity, noticing for once that my hair was messy yet okay. Small things for small minds. ^.^* The rest of my day has been concerned with reading, currently I am only up to page 259 of ‘The Griffin Mage Trilogy’, an omnibus of three books. Fire is not my favourite element by any stretch of the imagination but so far it is interesting, (even if it keeps flitting too fast between minor situations).

“It is finally Friday night” face.
I had hoped to get into work early, but due to a persistent flat tyre and an awkward to pump spare tyre that was not achieved. Boy, I just *love* pumping furiously in the freezing outdoors… At work my eyes were blurry/hazy with some colour distortions; I assume that to be a psychosomatic reaction to stress. Most of the day was a nightmare following on from yesterday’s meeting, as I knew it would be. Having lain in bed since 7:30pm ought to have relaxed me.

What is pink and tasty?
A bit better than yesterday, there were still tough periods to get through but it has the feeling of the lull before the storm. The eight inches of snow for this evening that everyone else has been talking about (as my eyes rolled) unsurprisingly failed to appear. Yesterday monosyllabic was the new black, today fondant fancies are the new “om, nom, nom”!

Flat, scarecrow hair.
Too stubborn to “go off on stress”, this job is burying me alive. Apart from various sudden calls into an office to discuss certain matters with others, now I am expected to re-write my own job description/specification to include all of the extra work that I took on to support the department, as if it is expected instead of task-list overload. They actually want me to actively scr@w myself over… @.@ The utter tripe that goes on is now intolerable, no matter how many times I spin it to get through the days.
As such I am hoping to make myself quieter on my booths simply because it is depressing thinking about all of the rubbish; until things cool off/I am set alight by stress it will be a case of being brief in my daily updates. Monosyllabic is the new black. Hopefully this means fewer attacks of boredom for the poor souls that are kind enough to comment regularly. *Hugs the two of you*
Oh, yes, it is cold too. >.<

I finished these earlier, yum.
It feels like I am crashing and burning at the moment, but applying for that job has brought a lull. Lying on my bed thinking of what to write, I fell asleep so sorry for my lateness. Ooo, my hand is all tingly. I just need something to latch onto at the moment; speaking of which, my dream was very… vivid. Searching through my memories there was a distinct mixing of boothers, school peers and current work colleagues. If ever there was a melt-down. *Shudder*

It has been a day where I could gladly crawl into a hole. *Sigh*
So far I have been forgetful, tired, made mistakes and badly cut my left knee at work – generally just “out of it”. Please let tomorrow be better. Something is wrong with my general demeanour, it appears that I have reached my mental limit, even though no-one was particularly unpleasant all day. Screwing up gets to me too, even if things can be corrected. :| There are some stupid thoughts swirling within my head that need quelling, which music has kindly put itself forward for. Thinking is just causing headaches, yet emptying my mind holds no appeal. I am not ready to choose the alternative.

Question of the day : How private a person are you?
Apart from safety, (e.g., D.O.B., real name), I am quite open… painfully so for others to endure. On-line I am whiny, yet off-line you would have to pry details out of me in this sort of mood.3 comments1 week 1 hour ago

A day for reading.
My Sunday can be summed up in two parts – Pokémon in the morning and reading in the afternoon. There may have been some delicious bread and butter pudding somewhere in the middle. ;) The snow has not caused a fuss, (thank goodness), it was nice to see parents pulling their toddlers around on sleds though.
Since nothing happened you get so see some of the Best Sweets Ever. You know that you want a slice! :D

From a light sprinkling to inches of snow that is not stopping.
Brr, today has been cold. I did not want to stay out long so it was a quick nip out to withdraw money and then a walk to the local shop for a magazine; etc. My brother and father endured watching an entire football match in it all. O.o Writing of my brother, he has gotten into a leadership programme of some sort for next half-term, we are all pretty thrilled as he needs this direction. He thought that it would be all boring lectures whilst sitting cramped in a room and so had hesitated, yet it turns out that he will be outside quite a lot. I may be imagining army obstacle courses, police drills and raft building exercises…
A bit of a dickey tummy this afternoon – yes, that is the technical term, ha, ha – but the raging radiators have kept me snugly warm, which helps. I bought a magazine that came with some special sweets, I shall show them off tomorrow (if I remember).

Question of the day : What is your favourite science fact?2 comments1 week 2 days ago
BEN S. is a 26 year old male from United Kingdom.
About
I am bored and childlike. I also talk to myself. There is not much more to say, although you should expect a few long blurbs once in a while.#Not mine - For Pokémon:http://www.psypokes.com/ or http://pkmn.net/. Silly regrets : 2. I do not appreciate people randomly trying to hock their links/videos/pictures on my booth. Please use you own booths for that. I have a strong allergy to 'follow4follow', causing irritation, naming and shaming, and blocking as the main symptoms.
Following them
They're following
Television
My favourite programme is Buffy The Vampire Slayer. DO NOT criticize the buffybot, only the snake obsession. I also enjoy Charmed, Sabrina The Teenage Witch, Clarissa Explains It All, W.I.T.C.H., Pokémon, Digimon, anime including C.C.S. (<3), Daria, True Blood, Being Human, Q.I. and female gymnastics. I despise 'reality' shows. I dislike half of the comedians on television, (not that I bother to remember their names).
Books
Again, science fiction, fantasy and manga. I have tried reading a simplified book on String Theory that I do understand but have failed to finish. Terry Pratchett is a genius, although sometimes a little unoriginal. Most of mine are now Japanese study guides.
Music
Anything but headbanging, rapping or R&B. Even a little J-Pop style anime tune can be good. My favourites at the moment are Tsubasa Chronicle's 'A Song Of Storm And Fire' and The Guild's promotional song, (well music video), 'Do You Want To Date My Avatar?'
Movies
Likes : science fiction, fantasy, anime. Certificate 15 or lower. Things that are emotional but light, fluffy, and visually beautiful. Dislikes : Harry Potter films. Yes, you heard me right, they annoy me. Unfortunately they have been shown so much that I have ended up watching the first four because it was so confusing seeing snatches from each, then having my family make jokes about me using references that I did not understand. It turns out that they were not funny in the slightest.
