Something I read on the blog http://www.breaktheillusion.com/ and wanted to share:

"My boyfriend always eats his least favorite foods first. He starts with the carrots. Then the salad. And then finally, when everything else has been consumed (and when he’s already a bit full), he indulges in the burger that he wanted from the get-go.
Why does he do it? Well, he’s saving the best for last – of course. Saving the best for last is a saying that we’ve all heard. But who started it? And, really, what were they thinking?
As best as I can tell, the saying has a military origin. As advancing armies approached, archers were urged to save their best arrows for closer combat.
Though “save the best for last” may be good advice for medieval archers, I think it’s anything but sound for you and me. What if my boyfriend chokes on a carrot and never gets to enjoy his juicy burger? Or, more realistically – why fill up on the food you don’t like and risk having no room for the food you do like? Our futures are not promised, and holding out is risky business.
In a much broader sense, life is very short. Don’t put off the things that you want to do – or else you may run out of time to do them. You are so worth the indulgence of whatever it is that you want right now – be it a new career, a long overdue phone call, or even a burger.
Save the best for last is a rule that is meant to be broken. All you have is the here and now; enjoy it."

so... time to do what you really want to do... say what you really want to say... I keep repeating these things to myself because I want to really feel this way, act this way... but it's so hard to change, take the first step... maybe if I repeat for a few more times, I might get there, lol

anways... funny thing:

In Brazil, if our team plays, the whole country stops during the game, some people don't even go to work... like, stores, all closed, government buidings too... I wonder if that happens in any other country...

today I had class till 3, and got home in time for the karate competition, I got first place on Kata and third on Shiai... yei

tomorrow I have my last class! ... but I'll have 2 months to finish a huge assignment before I'm done with the course)

sunday I'll take an exam so I can work for the government and there are only other 46 people running for the same job ... but I did not study, at all)

life would be much easier without all the "but"s, lol
