FAIL. In the Immortal words of phil collins: "I missed again, uhhun." thought I might have a chance with an Amazing woman. didn't work out. can someone please decode "you're too nice." for me because i'm pretty sure it doesn't mean literally "you're too nice." I think i'm going back to solitary living. this "connecting" thing seems confusing & too hard.

@Nexuszen ~ Oh oh! The curse of niceness. I've dealt with it and it is difficult to over come. The fact of the matter is you need to be who you are. If that's a nice guy (which we know you to be here on DB), then be a nice guy. If the woman walking the other way wants some immature psychopath who abuses her, then she's sick, sick, sick. Pray for her.

Indeed, what @phainopepla95 said. The truth is that even if it were true that nice guys finish last, my bet is that a nice girl would be finish right around the same time. Honestly, I've had the, "You're a nice guy" speech too many times to count. They always usually ended it with, "Some girl is going to be lucky to get you."
Fast forward in time. I gave up on females, realizing that they couldn't feel the emptiness in my heart anyway. I spent more time talking to my Creator, figuring He had the best shot at doing something about it. The more I depended on Him, the less women and what they said mattered to me. And just at the moment when I wasn't looking and wasn't interested, God brought the most amazing woman into my life. It's kind of like in the garden of Eden. Adam wasn't looking around for a wife in Genesis 2. God brought her when the time was right.
Now, on the other side of all of that, the funny irony is that now girls say to me, "Wow, she's really lucky to have you." It amuses me, they say the exact same thing, but it feels completely different now. In the end, luck had nothing to do with it. I'm just blessed.

Hang in there, bro. The wisdom and insight accumulated in solitude far outweighs whatever else the world has to offer. Be the best man you can be, and trust God for the rest. Praying for you, bro.

@phainopepla95 I don't think she's sick or mean in that sense i think it was a on the spot decision we have been on a number of dates and we got along whatever changed I think it changed in an instant. the Nice guy comment "too nice" just annoys me like in the princess bride inigo montoya & the giant says to the Sicilian " I do not think that word means what you think it means." "too nice" is a phrase that sort of defies definition. thank you for your kind words. ☺

@silentFox thank you for your prayers I am so happy for you and @Miyam Love is one of God's greatest Gifts to us and I am overjoyed that you have found it. I will take your advice and strive to be better do better and seek his council. although I am not overly religious I do believe in god and talk to him directly I know this is frowned upon by some religions but why would I be scared to talk to god? i just posted this as an outlet for my confusion. i'm not angry but I do seek understanding. if I ever meet a woman as amazing as your future wife I will hold on and never let her go. congratulations again.☺☺☺

i hate it when women use stupid excuses with men @Nexuszen seriously bugs me cos they give other woman a bad name1 if i wasnt interested in someone, id just say so straight! not say theyre too nice or they deserve better etc. woman can suck sometimes!
