Enjoyed an excellent Formula 1 race with @TheNate, though Williams' victory has been somewhat marred by the news that a few of their pit crew were set on fire by a fault KERS system. Hoping for the best.

I have since decided that I want the KTM 125 my brother's mate is selling and am going to enter myself into a race come the end of the season. Because it is a metric fuck-ton of fun.
God help me, and anyone that shares a track with me.
How good are these? Bassist Phil got us some business cards made up, and we've spent tonight handing them out to strangers in Leeds. Managed to give a CD to the synth player from an awesome band that were performing, so here's hoping for a support slot. Made a couple of new friends and had an all-round awesome time. Considering the horrendous shift that preceded it, tonight has turned out pretty well.

Apologies for my lack of communication on here, I haven't quite got back into the swing of things since the Dailybooth blackout. Didn't want to press the 'publish' button too hard in case the system came crashing down around our ears again.
Keep tapping my webcam in the vain hope that I get some kind of response, but Dailybooth seems completely deserted all of a sudden.

Well, in case anyone IS listening I won't send out an SOS. I'll keep up with tradition and relay to you the most mundane of occurrences as they happen. Both my brother and father are desperate to teach me how to ride a motorbike, so that's happening the next time I go home. My band is getting some UK radio play, which is pretty exciting. And I'm almost half of the way through an entire pack of bourbons. There is no one else here.
Recruiting local musicians for a pop-rock band, because I fancy playing bass and jumping around on stage a lot. The responses I've had so far are... interesting?
In other news, my little brother Tom has just named his band. They've gone for 'Balls Deep', which I think conveys exactly their level of class. They just won the school talent show with a rendition of You Me At Six's 'Underdog', and a corking cover it was too.
Best watch my back, there's a new kid on the block...
Really should start trying to use this thing BEFORE I'm getting ready for bed.
Exciting day planned for tomorrow though. I'm finally throwing myself into the modern world by picking myself up a smartphone. Then it's off to Fielding's for a songwriting session, closely followed by a stint int' pub. Can't wait to get some new Civil Protection ideas down.
Also realised my last few booths have been far too full of "woe is me" tripe, and for that I apologise.
So very tired right now. Couldn't even tell you why. Band practice went smoothly, I've had an acceptable amount to drink, and I got a relatively early night last night. Still, I'm pooped.
Tonight my friends told me I didn't deserve to be alone, because I'm "too lovely". Once the initial shock of them being nice to me had subsided, I bathed in the warm glow of their support.
Now listening to some Hammock and smiling to myself. Life is good after all.
Turned down a night out with a beautiful girl to go and shake what little booty I have to Kylie Minogue with @TheNate. Why? I wish I could answer that question...
Turns out I can't dance either. I know, who knew?
Still, a good start to the weekend with a band practice to follow. Bring on Sunday.
