we didnt evacuate...soooo we're just kinda staying away from windows and moving a lot of stuff from downstairs to upstairs..STAY SAFE EVERYBODY.
probably gonna lose power for like 4 days. fun times wooo!
ABSOLUTELY CRAZY DAY

longish story that i will shorten that i am only writing here because the memories are fairly fresh and i dont want to forget:
me and my cousin were supposed to go to six flags today. i was on an hour sleep. she was also up all night. she told me we werent going cause she'd be too tired to drive. then she said we were going. i woke up at 6. i was dead tired. i quickly got ready and ran all the way to the train station. i made the 7:56. my cousin was supposed to pick me up at 8:45 in sketch-ville brooklyn. she never showed. her phone was off. i didnt know where i was or who to contact. i was really scared and nervous. finally i get ahold of my sister. she wakes my cousin. she gets to me by 10:15. we decide we're still gonan go to six flags. we hit traffic. her engine starts sputtering. it dies in front of an auto body paint shop repair place. they are super nice and drive my cousin to a gas station to get oil and he even changes it for us because he is impressed that my cousin doesnt have a job since she has to take care of her mother. we drive the slightly fixed car to the gas station. the man from the auto repair shop drives over to check on how we're doing. the car needs $300 of work and an hour and a half. we are somewhere in staten island. we walk to Kohls. we shop. we walk back to the mechanic. they say all is fixed. we decide to continue on to 6 flags. we drive 10 miles on the NJ Turnpike. the car dies. its 2:30. Triple A tells us we need highway patrol to get us off because AAA cant go there. highway patrol comes at like 3:15. they tow us $80 worth farther into NJ off of the turnpike. now AAA wont talk to us cause we're in NJ. my cousin pays $70 to get herself on her moms AAA. they then inform her that she will be a gold member in SEVEN days. so we are stranded. they say we can pay $4 a mile. we agree because we are completely stranded. AAA comes at 5:20. the guy is really nice. we also meet a slightly creepy man from the garage. he kept saying weird creepy things. something about a lapdance. i mentioned i was a minor for lulz. we later found out his name is Pudge. because he used to be heavyset. aww. AAA tows us back to staten island. we become buddies. his wife is expecting and theyre naming it Dylan or Isabella. cuuute. we get back to the mechanic. theyre closed. someone shows up though who originally worked on the car. he feels really bad. its 7:00 at this point. we never made it to six flags. he gives us free drinks from the gas station. my cousin had to leave her car there. my mom picked us up. then me and my mom went out to eat cause she knew i had a crazy day. and thats the story of why i never got to go to six flags...me and my cousin will go one day though...esp since we already bought our tickets and theyll expire!
I spent like the last 5 hours rearranging my room a bit.
i switched my bed and computer desk so it involved moving LOTS of computer wires...but nowwww look a new view for dailybooth! i mean thats not why i did it..its just something i realized haha
also now the lighting is different cause my back is no longer to my lamp.
