Yesterday was definitely my exercise day. We took the train to Chicago and most of us wanted to get on a bus or red line to get to the beach. Not our friend Omar. He just starts walking, so we do, too. We walked from the train station to a beach near Navy Pier and I honestly don't want to know how far that was. But then, our friends who drove were apparently at a different beach, so we walked a mile to it, searched the whole thing, and didn't find them. They were still at a different beach. At this point, we're near the Sears Tower. So we walk another mile to this beach, and they're there. Later, we take a bus to N La Salle Boulevard and get off to walk back to the station. We had been walking for 20-30 minutes before I was like, "Forget this." and called my sister. She said we super far north and told me how to get to the brown line which would take us back to the station. We made it, and came home. Btw, in the end, we walked from the station to North Avenue. And then more. My legs don't like me. And I went to the beach again today. But this was at Lake Will, so no walking. And now I need sleep.

Beach day tomorrow! Me and a bunch of friends are taking the train to Chicago in the morning and are gonna spend the day as a sort of farewell to summer I guess. :D School starts Monday, and I'm excited now, but by next Wednesday, I'm pretty sure I'll be over it. XD

The present like I've never seen it before.
Is this the right place to stay?

So, tonight was supposed to be a screening of the Blues Brothers at the Old Joliet Prison. Me and some friends went, got a reallllly good spot, and I took a couple shots of the prison....and the approaching storm clouds. Literally five minutes before it began to rain, which progressed into a storm, and it was canceled. But it was still fun to see peoples' cars stuck in the mud and them trying to get it out. XD Eventually, we just went to a friend's house and chilled.

P.S. I didn't get my cookie dough. :/ But I got other stuff. ^__^

Tomorrow, I'm going on a Target run. And maybe some other places. I've been craving cookie dough. Not like, cookie dough ice cream, but the Nestle Tollhouse thing you buy and then you just separate the little squares and bake them. Except, I won't be baking them. :D

So, I've been reminding myself about boothing every day...and then I forget. But I didn't this time! :D

Anyhow, it was quite an exciting Friday in Joliet. The Jonas Brothers came to play baseball at a field we use for a local team. I can't tell you how many people freaked out and waited outside, in the rain, at midnight to get tickets to it. People are silly. But I paid it no mind and felt strangely accomplished of that fact. My tia even offered me and extra ticket for it, but I was like nahhh, I'm good.

If I turn my back I'm defenseless

Nothing too exciting happened today. My dad left for San Francisco...er...San Diego? Hm. Well. It's one of those. Oh! And it's my grammy and pa's anniversary! They've been married for 50 years! I was like O.O My gram bought herself a cake. ^_^
