Time for a reasonably scary, exaggerated enthusiasm photo as I settle down to write about intelligent design all evening and my webcam struggles to cope in low light conditions, overcompensating in the flash department, thereby rendering my skin tone indistinguishable from pure white light! Hoorah!

Don't have too many nightmares, now.

Revising Φ,Ψ angles and protein secondary structure by building polypeptide models with my molecular model kit.

Φ,Ψ = ±180, ±180, by the way. In case you were wondering (and if you were, you could probably tell from the picture). The green "atoms" are the R groups.

Received a copy of Stephen C. Meyer's book "Signature In The Cell" in the mail today, from none other than well-known US creationist and Discovery Institute fellow Paul A. Nelson. Apparently he reads my blog and "enjoys" it, so he bought me "Signature" off of my Amazon wishlist.

He probably thinks that it'll change my mind on intelligent design. We'll see. I doubt it, but I'll read it anyway. Apparently, it's a "must-read", according to Dr. Scott Turner on the back cover.
