@Fanchy In 1972 the world was my oyster. I had an apartment that had two bedrooms on the main level and a full attic den $200 a month. a case of beer (24) $4.50 smokes .49 cents a pack. a gallon of gas (imperial) that's 4.54 liters .39 cents. Paid $70.00 for my car $25 insurance $4.75 for plates and $10 for my license (including driving test) For $10.00 I could get a case of beer, a pack of smokes and a full tank of gas, and probably had enough to grab a bag of chips on the way out. So you are so right about the seventies.

@ArdieVerde For happy all the time you need pharmaceuticals, sadly they weren't massively distributed back then like they are today. Reality is funny that way you have good days and bad days... actually my FB status of yesterday sums it up nicely I thought.

You will have good days and bad days, that is what is known as an absolute.

You will meet challenges, frustrations, boredom and resolution. those are what are generally known as probabilities.

Some days you will win and some days you will lose. those are generally refereed to as odds.

Foreknowing this will give what is called and advantage. and that advantage may give you the edge you need to succeed... today.

For tomorrow you may have a good day or a bad day but it will end, just like today did.

Then far sooner than you think all days will be gone.

    What will you have then?

Every-time I see one of these classic snaps from happier times. (I'll probably catch flack for saying that) I'm ever reminded that in-spite of all the technological advances that our society has gained was it worth the cost of what our current society has lost. I blogged about it awhile back.

Skirting the borders of awesomeness if you ask me. But It most definitely requires the panacheian couture eminence of the Sarah module to pull it all together.

Alexander is a 63 year old male from Canada.

About

A reclusive poet/artist/a purveyor of philosophic musings, an activist in the realm of personal identity, self empowerment, and the aligning of the fullness of personal identity that comes through the realization that many selves make-up the self. Life explodes with spectacle and wonder when you cohesively align the many selves in harmony. Or will collapse into a makeshift semblance of dependance and happenstance when you accept to let others be the authors of your future and freedoms. You are spectacular, you are unique, you are a miracle waiting to happen. Believe in yourself, for that self knows the way home.
