Today was full of Emotion and Decision. I went to the church for the first time ever. (my family was not religious) I spoke to a man named Brad and he gave me my first ever Bible. He was really nice and he said the most beautiful prayer before i left. I also decided that i want to begin to study, and no matter what obstacles present themselves i will achieve my goal.

It's always good to try and understand the spirit within yourself, so good for you Sam. If you want a different, yet similar theme, trying reading Celestine Prophecy, I always thought that that book was what the bible was trying to say in modern day terms. But maybe that's just me.

@freebird Yeah, i have always explored spirituality in its different forms, i feel its a completely personal experience and i would never pass judgement on anybody based on those particular beliefs. Thanks for the suggestion, I'll keep an eye out for it.

@weilot willpower is already installed inside of you, it's just a matter of fine tuning yourself to use it to your advantage, my whole life i have had issues with "finishing" things i have started, and running away when things get too overwhelming, but this is a new start for me, and that is why i feel so determined, and i am pretty sure that God is going to guide me along the way <3

the long term goal is to become a youth worker - i have a vision in my head of a space i want to create where young people can come together to express themselves in a creative and thoughtful way and make themselves heard. I don't want to reveal too much because it is very close to my heart, and i feel if i am going to succeed i need to take it step by step ad not reveal too much

Aww ... that's wonderful Sam. :) When I was your age, and due to some of my own personal experiences, I had some of the same thoughts. It's cool to keep it to yourself. I always thought it'd be cool to involve horses, and the care taking of them, to youth home. Ground them in nature so to say. Any way, best wishes to you sweetie.
