As of about a week ago, I think I understand the full appeal for music finally.
All of it.

It started with listening to a review of how bad Twilight is where they pointed out for basically the entire book, Bella has barely been described and that leaves the reader with an empty shell to fill, establishing themselves in place of her and thus reading as her.

Then it occurred to me this is how music is. I mean, you'll listen to a song and in the true egocentric way think "this artist is totally speaking to me". And that's the thing, you have no restraints for most songs. Been hurt in love? *Bam* you're now Damien Rice's voice and picture your own troubles with them.
And there's so much you can just change. Feeling happy now? Michael Bublé time!
Wanna be mellow? Maybe some Bob Marley or Duran Duran.

You are whatever role you WANT to be, even in the the music videos. Hell, with instrumental music you can literally imagine it all. What one person see's isn't quite the same as the rest and it brings the mood for you.

So basically music is the single least constrictive thing when it comes to it. Slipknot can make you happy, sad or angry. You make the story for the songs even when most of it is sung already. That's why you might watch a music video that's completely different to what you expected.

@jope asked me what I'm studying.

Officially electrical engineer/computer science double degree.

But I'm tortured in a way. I know what I want to do until I start moving toward it. Suddenly every other career path looks more appealing. I want to be an EE, I also want to work in aerospace, I also want to become an English professor, I also want to produce music, I also want to just jump off the grid and be a freakin gypsy.

This might be why I also have trouble with women.

So yeahhhhhh rubbish with boothing....

Basically i went to London yesterday with @blueskies and @PJ and it was fun! Then we ended up in Bournemouth without @PJ sadly, but with a @JohnnyDurham and an @lomasca where we hung out at a few pubs and cocktail places, the best of which were on the beach and pier!

Infact the best of which had a banging hot waitress at which makes me want to goto that place more often when i'm back down Bournemouth properly from the 1st.

All in all awesome day seeing people and no time to booth!
