Not gonna lie, I'm tired as !@#$ right now. Bed is in my very near future. I'm just texting a friend of mine who has been having a lot of trouble sleeping lately, so I try to keep her company a little bit. Did I mention that I'm addicted to texting? Drop me a line if you want to sometime.

So, I'm not much of a hockey fan, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed with today's game. The way Team USA lost stings a bit, but they still had an unbelievable run through the Olympics, which is great,

Ahhhh, new frames!! I had an eye exam today, and I got my prescription updated. I got new contacts and a new pair of glasses. Thank God for insurance. The exam/retina scan, contact fitting, lenses and frames came to over $500.00, but with insurance I only had to play about $150.00 out of pocket for everything.

Earlier today, my sister and I took my mom out to lunch at Ruby Tuesday's. I had a steak - medium rare, mashed potatoes and baked lobster macaroni. Yes, macaroni with lobster meat. It was fantastic!

After lunch it was off to my eye exam. The first thing the assistant did, was take pictures of my retinas. The flash was so !@#$ing bright, I thought she was trying to blind me. Then I put my new contacts in and picked out my frames. While I was waiting for my glasses to get finished, I went and got groceries. After stopping back to pick up my glasses, I came home, and now here I am.

Hey DB! Sorry, it's been ages since I last boothed. Lots of stuff has been going on. We got our bonuses at work, for the 2009 fiscal year, today. It's nice to have an extra 2k+ to stash away. I'm only spending a small amount on a new computer desk, and the rest is getting stashed away in my "new car fund." I've got my eye on a red Nissan Cube. laugh all you want, but I think it's a neat little car. It's relatively inexpensive, and is Japanese, so I know it's gonna last a long while.

It snowed last night, and it's supposed to snow more tomorrow. :/ I need to go get groceries tomorrow, and the last thing I wanna do, is trek out in the snow. Maybe I can get it out of the way early in the day before it really starts to accumulate.

Anywho, how are the rest of you amazing people doing tonight/this morning?

It's 9 degrees outside, and the window is here in the basement has a nasty draft, so I'm freezing my ass off. Well, I was. I threw on a jacket, so it's all peachy now. Anywho, I'm a huge Tar Heel fan, and tomorrow is the first of two UNC-Duke games this season. This whole year has been a huge learning experience for my Heels. They're very, VERY young, and at times put 5 freshman on the floor. I'm a bit apprehensive about tomorrow's game, but at the same time I'm not. I know Duke is going to be heavily favored, but I just think back to March 4, 2006, when #13 North Carolina, led by freshman Tyler Hansbrough, Danny Green, Bobby Fasor and Marcus Ginyard, went into Cameron Indoor Stadium and beat #1 Duke 83-76.

I expect it to be a battle for 40 minutes. I just hope my Heels go out there and compete, and do me proud.

It's a Real Madrid logo, just in case anyone is wondering. I'm not one of those hardcore soccer fans, just casual. Football is my money maker. College football to be specific. I'm psyched for the Super Bowl though. Friends, lil' smokies, chips and dip, and beer. What more could you ask for?

Another lazy Sunday, with not much going on. But alas, the Grammys are tonight, and not only are th Dave Matthews Band up for Best Rock Album and Album of the Year, they're also performing live!!
