My cat Waffles got arrested today. o_O
Yeah it started out with my mom waking me up asking if I had Waffles in the room with me. Told her no, then shes all like "Oh My God" and tells me the story the lady who lives above us about this dog sized cat in front of her door hissing at her, and how she had to call the cops to get him taken away.
So we called the nearest precinct and found out they took him to the ASPCA. Scrambling to find a kennel we head over there to pick him up.
After waiting for some time I was finally able to get a chance to identify him as my cat. The sight I was faced with when I finally got to see him was not one I wanted to see, he was being man-handled by some guy and a female vet. His paws were all blue from the pads they used to clean him and he had a few bloody nails. It was apparent that he put up a fight. He was growling and shedding hair all over the place. He was clearly not happy.
She asked me if he was mines, which I then said yes, and confirmed it by pointing out a previous injury he had on his face. She also asked if he was neutered, again I said yes, expecting that to be it, she puts the pad she was holding down and molests him, I mean full on grabbing on his shriveled balls. I must of looked like a fish out of water, I was not expecting that. Waffles was not happy about that either, because he started to growl even more.
Anyway, outside of that my mom did all the paperwork, paid the fee and we had to wait almost a hour before they finally gave him to us.
The funny thing is that not only was he arrested by the police, but he has his own mug shot at the ASPCA. He is also classified as 'Overweight'. lmfao.
Now hes home, a little upset, hungry and tired and my other two cats are a little distant towards him which is to be expected, since he smells different. But I'm glad to have him back. =)
