I believe I haven't formally introduced to you my "new" haircut yet! Actually had this since Jan 2011. I was inspired my by own childhood hair; this is the more adult version of course!
Hollaaahh! Omg haven't uploaded in soooo long! Crazy.
Anyways. Filipino word of the day:
tired = pagod
Because that is totally how I feel, working 10-12 hours a day almost everyday. But it sure does make sleep feel a whole lot better than it otherwise would :p
My latest artwork, made especially for HP lovers! I am SO excited for Deathly Hallows to come out this November! Who is your fave HP character? Mine is Krum (the book version, not the big-headed cocky movie one)!
First time I got a manicure in an actual nail salon in my life! I was never able to do it because I am an "extreme nailbiter" (seriously! Google "extreme nailbiter" and that's what mine normally look like), but I forced myself to leave my nails alone for a month and this is the result! They're really small because I never gave them the chance to grow into adult-sized nails, poor things, but I am so proud of myself! Now I cannot stop looking at them and obsessing over how nice they look; getting them done really motivates me to quit nail-biting for good!
High school picture of myself! Can you believe my high school yearbook hasn't even come out yet?? I graduated in 2005! I'm done with university now! Seriously, how stupid is that?
Filipino word of the day:
picture = litrato (lee-TRA-toh)
I look like a mess! Just had LASIK eye surgery today! For those who don't know, it's a 10-minute eye operation that corrects your vision back to 20/20! The glasses I am wearing now aren't real; they're my sister's gradeless glasses I am just using to protect my eyes. The eye centre taped these plastic eye caps on my face for protection, but I looked so horrible and the tape was making my eyebrows itch.
For those with a stronger stomach, the surgery involves peeling off the outer layer of your eye, and then lasering the part underneath to fix the grade. They give you anesthesia drops so you don't feel the pain, but other than that you are 100% conscious and you can SEE them poking and slicing your eye and stuff! And worse, you can smell the burn from the laser! But it will all be worth it because tomorrow I should be fully recovered and my vision will be perfect! No more glasses, no more contacts, hurrah!
Filipino word of the day:
glasses = salamin (sa-la-MIN)
