I'm getting tan from working out at camp this summer... I'm not sure if it's a good thing or a bad thing, because the sun makes my hair turn blonde!

I got a rocking chair for my room!

This weekend was awesome, I went to a nice little resort area for a women's ministries retreat. My voice is sore from singing praise and worship all weekend :)

Also, I got new neighbors, and they're having a barbecue in their backyard, so all the smells come up through my window...

Lastly, this is the last week of the semester, yay!

That joker is super cute! I got this deck from Las Vegas. Somehow I've started buying cards from places I've been, but I don't really know why. haha.

Don't you love Disneyland?
This is a photo of my family and I at Disney's California Adventure about a year ago. We had gone to Disneyland for my grandmother's eightieth birthday, and since we were Southern California residents, we got to go to the other park for free :)

Anywho, this has nothing to do with anything in my life at the moment, I just like the picture, haha. My school choir is doing a joint concert with a handbell group, and it's really crazy to practice with them because all I hear is the bells ringing in my ear and not the other singers. Apparently it sounds really nice and blended in the audience though, so that's good!

Ummm, have you ever been to Disneyland or Disneyworld, and if so, what was your favorite part?

My mom bought this thing to trim my dig's nails, but she hates it! We try to coax her with treats and praise, but she will not go near it when it is on. So much for that idea, now I'll just have to deal with Aurora's nails scratching me!

In other news, I got the job at camp, which is both exciting and terrifying, but I think it will be an awesome summer!

I feel like I'm just repeating the same things in all my posts because nothing interesting has happened in the past few days. I applied to work at a summer camp today, so we'll see if that works out, I'm kind of scared if I do get the job because it's a lot more responsibility than I'm used to, but I'll be able to handle it!

So Kentucky was fun. It is very green and everyone knows each other where I went, which was crazy to me. On Saturday, we went to various yard sales to see what kind of deals we could get. I got this Harry Potter puzzle, so I'm going to put it together today :)

This time tomorrow I will be in Kentucky!
My mom and I are visiting her alma mater, Asbury university.
My best friend @R_othie is also coming because she got accepted there, so it's going to be super fun!

So I had an awesome time at the jazz festival yesterday. I got to hear some amazing groups, and my vocal jazz ensemble got to sing with grammy nominated jazz singer Karrin Allyson!

Today I helped out with some of the instrumental jazz things going on, but I'm so tired now!

Tonight is our jazz band's concert with grammy winning saxophonist Tom Scott, I'm excited!
