Pretty sure the first thing I told my hairdresser was to not cut too much off my hair...then I looked down and she had a good 10cm of it on the floor. I guess it doesn't look too bad though.

It's only 3 days until I get to be with @SirZerty again ^_^ I can't wait! He's the most wonderful person in the world. True story.

Finally free of stress! These past few weeks have been a bit of a nightmare but I don't need to think about them for a while as of now so here's a nice happy Christmas photo since I'm attempting to get into the holiday spirit. Better late than never!

My mother bought me an early Christmas gift to get my acclimatised to the American way xD. I'll have to try making Chicago-style pizza again and actually follow a recipe this time.

12 days left to put up with in Scotland!

My streak of awesome luck is still going strong: crashed my car yesterday so it now looks even shitter than it did before (something doubted possible by many) then today, I came out the store and the battery in my remote key had died and I discovered the shit-mobile doesn't actually have a real lock to unlock it manually. Quality design! Never mind though - I'll look back and laugh in a few weeks xD

No one wants to answer their phone today, it's a little frustrating as I'm stuck indoors and I wanted to at least schedule out my last two weeks here to get work finished up before I head off to Chicago.

I never got out today apart from to pick up a huge bit of steel that fell out of my neighbours roof and came so close to hitting my car. There's a hurricane going on outside and half the roads were closed so I couldn't actually get anywhere. Fingers crossed the wind has died down a bit by tomorrow.

Clearly it's winter - the tartan is getting worn frequently! I was out at the photographic societies Christmas dinner this evening: I got chicken liver pâté on oatcakes with salad, cranberry sauce and garlic bread followed by a main of turkey, gravy, boiled & roasted potatoes, stuffing and veg AND a huge meringue with cream, fruit and ice cream for dessert all for £20 and my two drinks only cost £1.30. It was pretty epic.

What do you usually have for your Christmas time meal?

Broke out the kilt and a nice can of Irn-Bru. Now all I need is for it to be the weekend so I can get some haggis for dinner. I'm not doing anything to celebrate - I was offered tickets to a ceilidh but since @SirZerty decided to live in America I declined. Maybe next year.

My weekend has been pretty nerd-tastic

Took apart my laptop not once, but twice. First time to clean it out and check the fan / cooling system but then I had to do it again because I forgot to re-wire the track pad #FailWhale. I've also been watching rather a lot of Star Trek TNG and playing Starcraft 2.

Boothing from a shitty phone app now because Voyager (the laptop) has died...well almost. After a while of use everything gets shut down, it's pretty tragic.

Anyways, boothing because @SirZerty told me to and I'm clearly whipped or something. How is everyone doing this evening?

Brodie is being all cute and adorable tonight by snuggling in with me (he's half under the covers too). It must be to make up for driving me crazy all day by eating my mail and such things...he's a little bit of a daemon dog that way.
