Recent events have opened my eyes to how many things I have to appreciate in my life.
Unfortunately, it seems that a lot of the time it takes a tragedy to happen for most people to have a wake up call in their life.
So I'd like to take this booth to recognize those people in my life I am most thankful for...
Mom- You always have been there for me. Whether it was to talk with me about some obsolete problem I was dealing with at school or making sure me and sister got to whatever practices we needed to go to. You always have been such a positive energy in my life and I know that's why I am the optimistic person I am today. I can't thank you enough for giving me that quality. I love you!
Dad- Although you were usually a word of less words, I still know how much you care about us. You always take the extra time to take part in me and sister's life and make sure everything run's smoothly. You have helped put and keep us on the right track in life, and I know I'll succeed in anything I do because of the skills you have taught me through the years. I love you!
Sister- You are my other half. I love how we decided to become partner's in crime instead of fighting each other every step of the way, the way I see so many other siblings do. I know I've made mistakes and haven't always been the best example, but I feel confident in the fact that you will learn through my mistakes instead of always following in my foot steps. I can't wait to travel the world with you. I love you!
Best Friend- You are the only friend that has never let me down. This is a quality I recognize and honor in such high regards. You have never followed the crowd and are such a strong person, inside and out. The things you do with your running of miles and miles is super human and I truly admire you for your dedication. I know we grew a little distant when we first went away to school but I'm so happy we have reconnected. I'm never letting you slip away again. I love you!
Boyfriend- I love our story. It started off a little crazy in the beginning but I think it's just like us. I have so much fun with you and although we only get to see each other once a month because of our distance right now, I have more fun in those few days than all the other days combined. I just keep looking forward to the day when we can finally be in the same town because I know we will be such a dynamite pair. I look forward to talking to you everyday and my heart still skips a beat every time I see you're calling or that you've texted me. I've never met another man like you and I'm holding onto you tight and never letting you go. I look forward to many more wonderful days, weeks, months, and years with you. I love you!
