I once had a piece of metal in my face, good times. Do it if you want. If you don't like it you can always take it out, it only leaves a tiny scar, so it's pretty risk free =P

well you can take it out it's true, but the effect it has had on your circle of people will not be removed so easily (positive or negitive). However that is not to say that I'm against it, but you should add that to your considerations...

it doesn't hurt to get pierced, but you have to remember to keep it clean for the first few weeks. also, smoking is terrible for it haha I learned the hard way, so avoid that.
