YES!!!! I GOT MY COMPUTER WORKING!!!

I got my new power supply in today. I hooked it up and messed with the RAM and got it working! WOOHOOO!!

your old power supply was bad then? maybe that is why your old one wont work too... hmm...

@jezter Quite possibly. The only thing that really sucks, is while in the process of taking my old computer parts out, the plastic thing that holds the CPU fan tightly against the CPU, broke off. So now there's no way for the fan to stay on the cpu. =(

your talking about the CPU fan holder on the old board? is it attached or is it able to screw off... meaning the plastic holder on the MB... I know some of them are removable...

@jezter You know on AMD MoBo's there's the square plastic thing that surrounds the CPU. It has a protruding plastic section on both sides of it, where the metal things on the sides of the fan hold on to. The you rotate that plastic arm thing on the side of the fan to clamp it down tight. Well one of those plastic things on the MoBo broke off, so the metal thing can't attach to it anymore.
