Immerse me in water. Put that water in a glass pool. Put that pool over the edge of a roof, suspended stories and stories above street signs and pots and pans and leashes. Give me eyes that open under the water, and let me sink to the bottom. Let my hair tug at my scalp, let it wrap around me. Make the sun shoot light between the surges. Let me look between the hairs and light, and through the liquid and the glass.
Let me float in the sky.

Not an edit.

The idea of the human, physical form still baffles me in a way. It's so odd to look at myself in the mirror and force myself to think, "that's me. That's what people see when they think of Sara. That... person. That thing with dead hairs coming out of its head and limbs sticking out and and holes in its face. It moves! I control it. It's the machine I use to express who I am. Somehow, that's Me."
A chain of random events led to red hair and white skin and imperfect vision and a short torso and random spots up my arms and shoulders and on my face. Jawline, eyebrows, hips, elbows, thys, ankles, ten toes.
DNA combined and a punnet square filled up and now... now this is how you see me. This isn't me, but this is what you see.
Why does this... this shell, this skin, this body, matter?
Why do you care? Why do I care? Why is it allowed to have such an affect on how we see and feel about ourselves? And each other? Why does it affect US. The real us. Because I don't think it should.

+Her teeth were perfect. Not like pearls, straight and symmetrical, but like porcelain, glazed and original and beautiful.
+Other kinds of gravity – masses pulling towards each other, brilliant and giant humans, like stars, being pulled towards each other’s lives. In different dimension, maybe we do look like stars, and when our lives connect and we move towards each other, silver strings show in angel’s skies and turn our lives into moving pictures, changing shapes/constellations.
+she hated for anything to touch her shoulders but for lips.

don't know what it is about eyes, exactly.
Perhaps I like them because they are a window to the soul, as some say. It might just simply be that they seem like the most direct route to the mind behind them.

I've wanted to do a picture like this for a while now.
I suppose that it's fitting.

I really feel as if there is MORE of me, that is simply behind my skin, ever hidden from sight. It's powerful and pronounced and beautiful. And has to be compacted to even fit inside this Husk of mine that locks it away and gives me weakness. It makes me lazy. It makes me stop caring. When I let it run my life, this thing inside me can't show itself at all.
I need to become stronger.

As far as you know, you've really existed for billions of years, and have learned everything there is to know. But it's all locked away inside something inside you - an intelligence or a soul or an essence or what have you.
And you've seen the entire universe, witnessed it through your own eyes and saw it differently than anyone else before or since.
And that entire universe is inside you, revolving around your own interpretation and experiences.
And you know the answers to every question, have seen the end to every beginning.
And you have to do is let yourself find it.

Feeling a bit out of focus today, but its all good. Just spent the day at my house alone wearing a suit. I'm a latchkey kid ;]

SO! I've decided to try something... I want a GLOBAL dress fancy day. Where all the cool people can dress nice all at the same time and.. put out a vibe of general awesomeness.
