I've never liked the Disney fairy tales. Specifically them.
Most people always assumed I was being too much of a realist with no imagination or romance. That's not true.
The actual messages these movies had, while a child would never spot them, were actually fucking terrible, as you can see above.
See now, not that most of you know, but I do like romance. But I also like EQUAL romance. I hate the notion that it's the man's job to sweep some 'poor woman' off her feet or to shower her with love or to treat her like a princess and then not have it returned. Unless of course that's their desire, but that's still their choice.
I want a woman just this once to come and sweep ME off my feet. To actually make a fucking effort to show that they're genuinely interested in me FIRST before I spend weeks or months trying to get their attention.
I gotta say, whenever I hear some girl say how she wants ''some handsome dashing man to come and treat her like a princess and make her feel complete'' I actually kinda look down on them. I understand true love, but that is not true love, that's sad. That's a 12 year old girls view of love. And very shallow. Just as shallow as guys can be.
To say you NEED someone to make you feel complete is sad. It just reminds me of those girls that would never be without a boyfriend. They don't care WHO they're with, just that they aren't single.
Happiness does NOT come only through being with someone. It's just a nice extra.
Honestly, I know this will probably offend some of you. But quite frankly I'm not even vaguely in a mood to pretend I care.
