Did an impromptu photoshoot/waacking poses practice whilst on summer holidays in Sperlonga, Italy the other week. It is a beautiful town half way between Rome and Naples on the Mediterranean coast. Some of the shots turned out quite nice. :)

So on Saturday I entered a freestyle open dance battle/competition at the Southbank in London. My first one ever! I had zero expectation of even making it past the first round (I only hoped I wouldn't embarrass myself too much!) But amazingly and incredibly, I made it all the way to the finals! I still don't understand how that happened but I'm pretty happy. And best of all - I enjoyed the experience and am really proud I had the guts to do it!

The comp was open to all street styles (popping, locking, breaking, house, waacking, vogue). I was dancing "waacking" style. Video can be found: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e4g4_HkV4IE

As you can see... tis a beautiful HOT sunny day in London today! Heading out to west end now for some pre holiday prep shopping, yummy gelato and to check out a hiphop battle event. :)

So today was definitely a day for sunglasses! Also a day for swimming outdoors under the hot sun... or would have been if the damn Lido hadn't been closed when I got there. Talk about fail opening times. :(

Lookee lookee my new zumba instructor clothes have arrived! :D I love them.. they're soooo comfy and very happy colours! :)

Also right in time for my very first workshop. I'm excited and scared at the same time!

Kazz Energy = 0.

I feel so tired and lazy and not-so-well tonight. I had planned an ambitious evening of going to gym studio after work to rehearse my zumba choreography and then going to waacking dance class after that... but all I feel like doing is snuggling in bed, maybe taking a bath and then reading a good book or watching a dvd..

As you can see.. the 2nd option won. -__-
