This summer has included a lot of rain.
I am not all that impressed, I want to go to the beach and have a picnic in the park and go swimming in the outdoor pool once more before summer ends, but by the looks of things I don't really have a chance.
What's the weather been like where you are?

I know it's weird but sometimes I wish I smoked, just because it's a way to calm down when you're stressed, but I would never actually try a cigarette?

I hate it when I see girls of 15 and 16 who hate their bodies and spend all their time worrying about what they're eating and how much fat they're burning, I don't have a problem with being healthy, of course it's a good thing, but there is a fine line between healthiness and obsession, these girls aren't happy, in fact from my point of view they're pretty miserable about trying to rectify their body and it doesn't give them the opportunity to enjoy life to the full. I mean fair enough, I'm larger than the average girl my age and I don't maker a conscious effort to change this and maybe I should, but I just think that it's more important to learn to accept the way you look, rather than fighting it, which is what I am trying to do at the moment.

I'm Katie, I'm seventeen years old and I live in Kent which is in the South East of England. I go to an all girls school and I'm in year 11, it's ok just quite stressful because we're doing our AS levels a year early, so lots of work! I enjoy going to London, going to see Arsenal (the football team I support), taking photos, days out, holidays, hugs, parties and just the general things that a teenage girl likes.
