This picture was take a little while before my love and I went to a haunted attraction called Nightmare on 13th in Salt Lake City. It was a lot of fun, and I ended up getting shocked and momentarily frightened on several occasions. It was far superior to the Haunted Forest in American Fork.
Halloween it's my favorite holiday, and I fully intend to go to more attractions this month. I'll also be dressing up.
Anyway, you may be wondering why I just let my acne and eczema hang out in this picture when I normally never do. It's because I took it from my fancy new phone.
The other day, I accidentally washed the ancient TracFone I've had since I was fifteen with my pants, effectively insuring I could no longer use it. In response I got a new phone with a dealer line set up from work. I work at Radio Shack.
I am now the proud owner of a Samsung Galaxy S II Epic 4G Touch. I don't know how I've lived for so long without a smart phone. Heheh9 commentsOctober 19th, 2011

This was taken just before Jonathan and I left to go to my step-sister's wedding. I wish he would let me play with his Nikon 5100. I would use it more than he would, and it takes such wonderful shots. ^;_;^5 commentsOctober 19th, 2011

I finished my mask, and I took pictures with it. I made this mask for a little contest on Roliana.com. It was just for fun, and i know it's not an amazing mask, but I'm pleased enough with it.
Other pictures of it:

Anyway, I am extremely sore! On Wednesday, Jonathan and I went to the gym, and we worked with a personal trainer who worked us really hard, focusing on our thighs. We'll meet with him again on Monday.
On Thursday, I pulled weeds until my legs cramped from being sore due to Wednesday's work-out. Then, I decided I needed to go to Wal-Mart before Jonathan got home from work to get Tarn-X for my circlet. I got directions on Google Maps, and I wrote them down, but I missed on of the turns while walking, and I had walked like... twice as far as I would have by the time I realized I'd missed my turn.
Today ((Friday)) my legs hurt like crazy, and my ankle feels sore for some reason. Maybe my ankle just doesn't like when I walk... I need new shoes. Maybe that's the problem.
Anyway, on Sunday, Jonathan and I are going to go see Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2. We also need to start our diets ((personal trainer gave us diets to follow)) today or tomorrow. I want to have started it before Monday, so if he asks, we can say we've been following it. XD5 commentsJuly 22nd, 2011

Yesterday was one of those days where I really didn't want to do much other than take pictures, so I did. This was just one of many. How do you like my new eyes?28 commentsJune 30th, 2011

Boring picture, but I thought I looked kind of pretty in it.
I experimented with some blue eyeshadow today. ((Here is what it looked like with my eyes closed: http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b387/xluridlullabyx/IMG_16572.png ))
Despite the fact that normally, blue shadow has a really bad reputation, I think I pulled it off quite nicely. I mean, it's all about using several different shades of blue and blending them well. Plus, there's a hint of coppery brown mixed onto the lid as well which I think helps to tone it down a bit.
All in all, it's a very wearable look which isn't something people can normally say when wearing blue shadow.6 commentsJune 22nd, 2011

It rained today! There were snails EVERYWHERE! All five snails in this quad of images are different ones. The one in the upper left to the left of the porch stairs. The two upper right snails were on the right side of the porch, the one in the lower left was pretty much right by the steps on top of the porch, and the one in the right bottom corner almost got crushed by my love's car. If he'd just pulled up a few inches more, that little guy would have been dead. I'm glad its life was spared.
Anyway, it was awesome. There were more than just these five snails, too. There were at least three more crawling around the porch ((one particularly tiny one was eating a leafy thing)), there were several in the gardeny parts in front of the porch, one was on the walkway leading toward the driveway. I love snails even if they're bad for gardens. They're just so neat!4 commentsJune 19th, 2011

I haven't done a photo shoot in a while, so I did one today all over my backyard. This was one of my favorites.
I've sort of been avoiding taking pictures of myself lately. This has been due to a combination of bad acne, weight gain, bugs, and the idea of wearing make-up. Don't get me wrong. I love make-up; I just don't love how my eczema gets worse when I wear it. :: sighs ::
A possible subconscious reason I haven't done a photoshoot in a while is because I tend to forget to eat when I do it, and I usually start around lunch time or just before it. Today, I ate breakfast around 9:30am, and I forgot to eat lunch until like... 4:52pm. Yeah... I was feeling really sick and queasy with no idea why until I looked at the clock.
Other than that, tings in my life have been going really well in my life. ^^_^^8 commentsJune 14th, 2011

I love rock candy. It's not particularly delicious because it's essentially just chunks of sugar that have been dipped in some kind of flavor, but the crap is amazing for pictures. ^^_^^ Seriously. It's visually beautiful to me for some reason.
There was a green one that was "sour apple" flavored, but I ate it in Oregon. Jonathan wouldn't let me use the blue one because he wanted it, so I had to stick with pink. It's wasn't as appealing or interesting, but oh well. =39 commentsJune 1st, 2011

Oregon was great! It didn't rain as much as it did the first time I visited, but I was at least prepared with warmer clothing and a rain coat ((the one my love bought for me the last time we went and I was oh-so-unprepared)).
We spent a lot of time with his mom which wasn't bad. She's a really nice woman, and we had fun.
On Friday, we visited his friend, his friend's wife, and their new baby. The baby's name is Lucian, and he's really drooly, but he was happy enough while we were visiting.
We went to the mall with his friend, and I got a book called Fragile Things by Neil Gaiman which is a collection of short stories and poetry.
On Saturday, we went to Portland's Saturday Market where I got my friend a cute, blown glass, frog pendant, and I got myself a neat hair wire thing.
On Sunday, we went to the Seaside Aquarium. It wasn't as much fun as when we went last year because it was over crowded this time ((due to Memorial Weekend)), and the seals weren't as lively. To be fair, the females and males were separated because three of the five females are pregnant, and those overly pregnant females were the ones we could see. They were like... eleven months along. If I was eleven months along, I wouldn't really care about people throwing fish at me, either.
At least I got some neat pictures and videos at the aquarium. This was one of them. Another one I liked that I got was of a cool fish and some starfish, but the crab was the better picture overall. You can view the other one here: http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b387/xluridlullabyx/My%20Art/IMG_09913.png ((You may have to copy/paste the full link to view the picture.)).
I also got a picture this cool, grumpy looking fish that you can view here: http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b387/xluridlullabyx/My%20Art/IMG_10093.png ((You may have to copy/paste the full link to view the picture.)).
I had my first truffle while we were in Seaside, though. There's a really cool candy shop in that town, and yeah. It was delicious. I want more truffles. ^x_x^
Being in a car for fourteen hours suckkkkkkks.4 commentsMay 31st, 2011
