#DailyWhore

Just came off a 5a - 10p type of day. We had double inventory at the store and stupid me wore brand new suede leather desert boots for this 13 hours shift. Breaking in new shoes at work is a really bad idea.

and now I'm all nakey in the tub. I didn't actually have a tub tray, so I laid wood siding across the sides and a white board on top of those to rest my laptop. Very MacGyverish of me.

What about you? Ever make anything you were kinda proud of, even if it was stupid?

Just updated my netbook to Ubuntu 11.04 and this is the thanks I get. Blocky Dailybooth snaps.

Finally fixed up some kind of 5 year plan. Here it is:

Join Air Force Reserves
Apply for Officers Training School
Finish my Bachelor's in Communications
Apply for Air Force Chaplain's Assistant
Attend Seminary on the Air Force's dime
Receive my Masters of Divinity and Theological Ordination
Apply for Chaplain's position with the US Air Force.

Dang it, people who aren't my family are always in my house. I just got off an 11 hour shift. I want to come home, take off my pants, and eat my PayDay candy bar shirtless in my underwear in the living room.

What about you guys? After work attire? I'm I the only one who considers this pantless time?

Sleepin in a coffee house. My car is a piece of crap and decided to blow the transmission, the timing belt, and a coil pack with 72hrs of each other.
Luckily I had a friend coming into the city and he dropped me off at the coffee house.

Work in an hour and a half. So not interested in going.

How do you all get around? The tubes? Bus? Bike? Car?

Thoughts? Feelings?

This quote lept at me because there are so many now in mainline and fringe Christian groups who marginalize and demean people groups. The Jesus they claim to reflect is not the same guy I've been reading about.

What do you think about personal rights and such? Can I sleep with a goat if I do it in my own house? Should I be able to have 3, 4, or 8 wives? Can I stockpile guns and ammunition?

Or, are our freedoms subject to the opinions of others?

Also, I've been writing again. Made it through another few pages of just stuff. It feels good to see the pen ooze ink out onto the page, slowly downloading each little bit onto the pad.

Do you write often? What about?

I think @OuterLegsRace and myself are failing pretty hard at this #BoothEveryDayInMay thing.

Monday was @Haileyeliah 's birthday. So, her and I hit the streets of #CHA and gorged ourselves on some Olive Garden and such. Then we took some leisurely strolls through the city parks. It's so awesome to have Wednesday's off. You can spend the whole day about town and there's relatively little traffic or anything.

Afterwards we hit up the cinema and saw Fast Five. It was a pretty good continuation of the original story lines. Neat to see it all play together nicely.

What days do you have off? What'da ya use 'em for?
