3:54PM - Last night was the last day of Rock School. This is a picture of me with *the* John Sinclair, Ozzy's keyboardist as well as Uriah Heep! So amazing. He's a wonderful tutor & I learnt SO much from him. He's such a genuine, down to Earth guy & I can't wait to see him again. :3

DAY ONE:
I didn't know anyone but Bryce so I was feeling a bit edgy. I was also REALLY hyperactive on tonnes of energy drinks! We walked into the theatre, mingled, met John, sat down. We had our tutors introduced to us all. Then we were put into groups based on what instruments we played. Then each group went off to different workshops. My group went to work with a guitarist named Keith for live stuff. My group split into two because we had too many members. That's when my band was formed (Me on bass, Bryce on vocals, Alasdair & Kieran on guitars, Fearghus aka 'Acoustic' on acoustic guitar & Luke on drums). We jammed a few songs, was awesome. Then we went into the recording studio to learn about sound production etc.

After that was lunch. After lunch we worked on some more live stuff with John Sinclair. When that session ended, it was songwriting time with Jim. We made him write a song about sex on a school table! Hahaha, it was really funny. Then we started work on our own song. We got some verse music down, & riffs for the chorus. Luke, our drummer, had written some lyrics too. It went really well.

Then it was free time because those wanting to work on a guitar masterclass did so, & soloists worked on their crap. I just sat around & hung out with some folks in ma band til we went home. After we'd been put into groups we had the options of re-forming with any members to create our own bands. The half of the group I was in decided to stay together because we really liked each other & blended well musically. <3


DAY TWO:
Bryce & I got the mini-bus from Inverness this day. Once we all arrived, we had a brief talk from the tutors to let us know what we'd be doing that day. Each band put their names in slots for various workshops we wanted to do that day. We worked more on our original song, got it finished off, rehearsed our cover for the show (Sweet Child O' Mine) & polished things off. John talked to us about life experiences, the music industry, put everything into perspective for us. It was a productive day with lots of rehearsing! We recorded our original song twice. I got to play around with a fretless bass again, as I did the day before.


DAY THREE:
Day of the show! We had a session with Keith first up where we had a quick run-through of "Sweet Child O' Mine" & our original song "Sweet Smile, Sweet Sorrow". We didn't need to fix anything up on that so we went for a break for a while. In our break we jammed our songs more. Then we had a session with John where we again didn't need to fix anything. So we had more breaks, aka jamming rehearsals. We then went into the studio to record "Sweet Smile, Sweet Sorrow" another 2 times to make sure we had good enough takes to be mixed. Then more jamming breaks & fun stuff. At 2:00PM we had a full sound-check rehearsal which got us really pumped!!! Then that night we performed. It went soooo well & it was an amazing feeling.

I really love the boys in our band! I got all their numbers, email addresses, Facebooks etc. I'd like to see them again & jam some more because I think we clicked together really nicely. We all have the same ideals, heart & passion for music. & The drive! & We make ourselves really creative when we worked together. :DDDDDD

I feel so happy to have gotten to work with John, hear his stories & tips, he has made me feel even more determined & motivated than before. Rock School was so good & if it happens again next year, I'm definitely sending another application form. :3

FACT # : Tonight @Frododo & I are going to a party at my friends' house. Louise invited us to keep her & Charlotte company. It's John's birthday. I'll be getting to see @Shortyyy (haven't seen her since I went to school!) & @brokenvanity. It's going to be really fun. :3 Haven't been to a party since NYE.

8:48AM - On my way to Rock School's last day. Show tonight! I'll do a proper booth later....

8:30PM - Ah, excuse how terribly tired I look today. I am. I have bad insomnia & am getting up when it's dark every morning to take @Frododo to work. Today I'm feeling pretty nervous about tomorrow's Rock School workshop. I'm glad Bryce is going to be with me because at least I'm not going to be alone. I'm hoping that once everything's explained to me I'll feel a lot more at ease & stress-free. I just don't know exactly what's happening yet. I'm so shy & not looking forward to being around other people. :( :( :(

10:50PM - Sooooo @Frododo is working at his new job now which sucks. He gets good money but we don't see much of each other any more. He starts work when it's still dark, & comes home when it's dark again at night time. I do not like this at all! :( And we're both always snoozy~ D:

Tomorrow is my last day to rehearse before Rock School! ^__^ & I have made plans for my upcoming 18th now. My doggy's Birthday is this Saturday but I'll be away at Rock School, awww! I'm going to spoil her rotten when I get home, then sometime the next week I'll hold a little party for her. :3 She's so adorable, I LOVE HER!!!!

I hate this blurry webcam on my laptop. It used to be REALLY clear & good. I don't know how to fix it. The lens~ thang is clean.... No idea what it is. I'm not computer-confident. :/ Fuuuu-

Nao I'ma watch Supernatural with @Frododo before he has to go to sleep. :(

FACT # : I'm always late for everything I do! I was supposed to leave at 5:30PM but no matter what I'm always late. >.>

2:23PM - This is so embarrassing. @Frododo & I are wearing matching clothes. My shirt's white, his is black. My trackies are black, his are white. Oh god, it makes us look like one of ~those couples. But we didn't deliberately coordinate our sleepy clothes. We just ARE. It's ridiculous!!

Tonight we're going out for dinner with fellow Macphersons for a Burns Supper thing, my parents are giving the toasts this year. I'll booth later before we go, I guess.

Also today, @Frododo finally made a Farmville on Facebook!!!! & I made him make Café World too. I'm pathetically addicted to both of those apps. :/ I have multiple alarms on my phone set for my crops & food to be served. & My sister @rhiieealcorn's & my Mothers so I can do their apps for them too.... >.>

FACT # : I have an incredibly addictive personality. Not meaning that people are addicted to me, if anything they're the opposite. I mean that I find too many things to be addicting. I can become addicted to almost anything!! Like damn Facebook apps. >.<

8:32PM - This is a picture of @Frododo's new tattoo & me lo0ming in the background. DO YOU LIKEZ IT?! I ♡ it lots & lots. Love the detail & the shading. It's so nice & classic-looking.

TODAY I got a letter of acceptance to the Rock School workshop! It runs from the 12th-14th of February & I'll be working with awesome musicians like *the* John Sinclair! Keyboardist from Ozzy Osbourne & Uriah Heep! I'll be put into a group with other musicians to form a band, working on writing a song with them with the help of the tutors, learning about the business & getting ~talks about the *real* side of it, then I get to perform with my temporary band thingy. I'm excited to be getting to meet John Sinclair cause I LOVVEEESSSSS the bands he's worked in & he knows my family friend (Jamie Page) cause they were in a band together with Cozy Powell..... YEEAAAHHHH I'M FUCKIN' EXCITEEEDDD!!!!!!!

But I'm worried because I despise other kids/teenagers & I don't want to work with peers. I wish it was just me & the adults. One on one. Because kids piss me off & are cocky little shits. Girls think they're the best at everything & are so bitchy. Boys think they're better & more badass cause they're boys but they AREN'T!!! & I'm a very shy person so I always get shoved to the background.... Awkward. I REFUSE TO BE SHOVED ASIDE THIS TIME!!!

What are your favourite kinds of tattoos?

Mine are greyscale, classic pieces. ORRRRR Colourful vintage pieces, like scrolls & organs & pin-up girls. Anything 1940's/50's~esque. Vintage pieces are so cuuuuute & nice. Love love love them!

FACT # : I ordered new bass strings today! Heavier than my usual but still not as heavy as I'd like. I usually play 105's but I've ordered 107's this time to try them out. I HOPE THEY SOUND GOOD!!!!

4:53PM - Chris & I are just about to leave with my parents to go to their friends' house. The Mrs is throwing her husband a surprise party. I can say this here because I *know* neither of them have a DailyBooth account or a Twitter account. It's safe~ ^__^

Today I made @Frododo buy the Sims 3 app for his iPhone! He doesn't really like the Sims & finds it boring. BUT IT'S MY LIFE!!!!!!! If I could afford one, I'd have an iPhone just for the Sims! I wish I did have one though....
