    Hmm, I disappear for months on end and then I return looking slightly scruffy. What have I been up to? Well...

    I worked a lot.
    I applied for a job.
    I had Helen visiting me here last weekend.
    I had a BIG SCARY JOB INTERVIEW.
    I've had a week alone... two weeks to go.

    I had one of those experiences today where I sit down to try and take a video all full of confidence at looking nice and then, as I take successive pictures, I become so disillusioned with my face that I end up writing on my limbs with sharpie and using soft focus to hide my shame. Hazzah!

    Despite my bout of facial frustration, I'm actually in remarkably good spirits of late, in fact the last month and a half have been a mind blowing emotional roller-caster of happytimez, which is just what I've been needing. I plan to continue them indefinitely. I feel teh luckiness. Which includes going to see @absolutetwoddle in fourteen days to ring in the new year together. I know I've mentioned this before, I don't care, too happy.

    Panda Claus; totally a thing now, k?

    I've spent the day buying, wrapping, making and generally thinking about presents. I'm usually pretty terrible when it comes to Christmas, but making an effort to make something nice for @absolutetwoddle since we won't be together on Christmas day. My little toe suffered the greatest injury, crushed beneath a seat cusion while getting wrapping paper out; ouchie!

    While I'm terrible at actually getting round to finding them, I actually really enjoy the act of giving, especially when it's emotionally significant. A few years back, I got into the habbit of occasionally sending cute care packages from ThinkGeek to friends in America, it always made me really happy to see their reactions :3

    This is my "I'm starting to feel better" face :D

    I had a really horrible moment at about 4am, waking up with an excruciating throat and a sick feeling in my stomach, wasn't very nice. However, I woke up and felt a bit better and have been pretty stable all day.

    Thankfully @absolutetwoddle has been great at making me feel loved and cared for, I'm very thankful for her at the moment, thanks Helen <3

    Not feeling all that much better today, stayed home from work in the hopes of a relaxing day helping, but my throat is still as sore as it was when I woke up, despite pampering with ice-cream and a selection of painkillers and anti-inflammatory, oh well. Luckily I've got @absolutetwoddle keeping me happy, healing power of love and music. She's in London at a show tonight and I actually found myself crawling into bed to take a nap with my phone in my hand (carefully recreated here) because I wanted that connection; I really am a soppy one. She makes me feel better.

    These things are a godsend!

    So I've been feeling pretty terrible over the past few days, severe throat pain to the point that I'm avoiding swallowing because it hurts so much. Luckily I've had a day off today to recoup, but still feeling pretty bad and have to work tomorrow, which I hope I feel up to. What's more, @absolutetwoddle is even worse off than me, which makes me feel kind of useless, it's always hard seeing somebody you care about suffering when you're not able to comfort them. I hope we both get well soon.
