    1) Grow it out for a couple more weeks and see what it looks like then.

    @JasonCoffee I am required to be clean shaven for the National Guard at least once a month. I typically grow out my facial hair for as long as I can between. Just when it starts to look decent it is time to shave it.

    Grow one. It is a nice change. I grow mine most of the time. I keep one on for 4-6 months, before shaving to a goatee. Keep that for a couple weeks, then to a mustache for a day of so. Then I shave clean. I can usually only stay clean shaven for about a week before I go nuts. I hate shaving. There is a part, in a 1-2 weeks when it will itch a little. Hairs are longer, but not soft yet. I found if you use your hair conditioner, issue goes away in a day or so.
