    Both are disgusting and horrid. It's still the same number of people not here today, no matter who intentionally ended the furthering of their development. Fully grown people are still developing. alright, i'm gone :)

    @MoonDoggie :) yeah, a more efficiant adoption program should be in place. maybe i should start the paperwork now to get mine by the time i want one ;)

    o.o i didn't say any abortion is selfish, i said all of the most popular reasons are.
    The zygote (single cell) stage is super tiny. But even that one cell has all the Genetic Codes for a complete human being. Ending that development, ends the life of an individual.

    The only difference between someone who has been born for 100 years and one concieved for 1 minute-- is time and development. There should be something in your conscience that forbids you to abort a life at any stage of development.

    I'm all for choices people make concerning their own bodies, but a child is not it's mother's body. They have their own complete DNA and their own bloodtype-things that are agreed upon to identify a body at a crime scene. She contributes nothing after conception to it's identity as an individual.

    I'm looking into adoption as well. :D and actually, there are enough adoptive parents waiting to take in any and all unwanted babies. I totally understand not wanting to give birth, but i could never harm my own child because of that fear.

    Most of women's reasons for ending their own child's life are selfish. Even the best excuse, "Rape" is at the bottom of the list at less than 0.5% of abortions. But, rape victims themselves, after the procedure, often say that it was equally traumatizing, and they regret it.

    also, these women often can not concieve once they are ready to. They aren't told this beforehand. Clinics must perform an ultrasound to determine if the baby is too far along to kill, but they do not show the mother the images. because,
    EVERY mother who gets to see her child, spares her child. And the clinic wouldn't make any money.
