I never booth anymore. Probably because no one else booths.

I made the terrible mistake of getting my eyebrows waxed while on accutane...I have no skin below my eyebrows...

Went to some dive bar for dinner, was not worth the burger, I have never seen so many morbidly obese people in my life, and it was most definitely not the kind of place you roll up to in a Jaguar XJR.

Gardened today and doing the same tomorrow. Laundry and then going out. La la la.

I've some DSL's if you know what I mean...

Had traffic court today, officer didn't show up. Ticket dismissed(: Was really awkward standing with all of the delinquents while I'm talking about AP's with my Fordham lanyard hanging out of my pocket and my Lacoste shoes, Gap button down, and Calvin Klein jeans...I even have on designer underwear and socks.
Was generally disappointed at the lack of dancing lobsters though...

Had my last test of the year today<3 so unbelievably happy to be done...now I just awkwardly have a month left of classes? AP students should be dismissed in May, we have nothing to do for the last month of school. Sucks to be smart.

Speak words to me.

When people post their biased, irrational, and ignorant opinions on Facebook I cannot help but open my mouth.

Girl I have known most of my life is now a born againer, not my favorite type of Christian, I find them to be the most crass and least Christian in reality. She posted a status bashing Obama for claiming he's a Christian while openly supporting gay marriage, then cites Leveticus (like every other asshole) and proceeds to find herself in a 70 comment thread which I stumbled upon.

"Okay, now this was interesting and entertaining. BUT a good Christian, who has done their reading and research would know that Leviticus is the Old Testament written by the Jews, it's Jewish law. It was written so Jewish children would grow up in order as they made their way to Canaan. It is out dated Jewish law that no one believes in or follows. It is still part of the Bible and the Torah though because it always has been. Once Jesus came around and the New Testament was written the Old Testament laws were scrapped, but in the spirt of love and acceptance they were to be respected for the Jews who followed the Old Testament. If you want to be an Old Testament Jew than I suggest you start following the rest of the Old Testament laws, you cannot pick and choose what is acceptable and what isn't in order to defend your point. Either the entire Old Testament is antiquated, which is has been for years, or you follow the entire thing. Don't half ass your religion because you lose all of your credibility and you make yourself seem ignorant, and I have never found you to be until now.
Obama is one of the most influential and powerful political figures in the country, if not THE most influential and powerful. So he should say something and for him to be the first person to take a stand on the issue is impressive especially with it being an election year. He does not win voters and he does not lose voters, he is staying true to his own beliefs. I have respect for anyone who can do that. Is he an FDR? No, but he has done things. He's done much better than Bush, that is for sure.
I'm a bi-sexual, half Jewish, half Catholic, Republican who's bestfriend is a Muslim. I am as unbiased as it can possibly get.
If you are to open your mouth, do your research and make sure you can stand your ground with solid facts.
No one, Christian, Muslim, Jewish, gay, straight, transgendered, black, white, hispanic or asian deserves to have their rights denied to them or to be treated like second class citizens.
Search around and read the stories, watch the videos of gay couples that spend longer periods of time together than most straight couples do and when one dies the horrible rights they are denied. How would you feel if no one legally recognized your union to the person you love, the person you would give your life for? How would you feel if that person was in a terrible accident and was left to suffer as a vegetable and you knew that they never wanted to be put on life support and you had to sit there and watch them have to "live" a terrible "life" because legally, you're not married to them so you have no right to pull the plug? Do you think that would hurt?
Over look the word "marriage". It's nothing holy. The divorce rate in this country is 50%. If you want marriage to be holy, outlaw divorce. Look at the rights involved and what homosexual couples lose after fifty years of commitment and monogamy as compared to heterosexual couples. If you're going to try to be a better Christian, learn to love unconditionally, see light in every person no matter what their personal choices are, and learn to look at the other side and put yourself in that position."
