"So let's spend
The afternoon in a cold hot air balloon
Leave your jacket behind
Lean out and touch the treetops over town
I can't wait
To kiss the ground
Wherever we touch back down"
very few things are worth getting up at the ungodly hour of 4AM, this, however, was one of them2 commentsJune 28th, 2010

in a simple white room

"Robert, the big kids burned all their school books
In a hole they dug in the woods in July
I’m on fire
We lit fires to pay homage to their souls
Who’ve gotten old and went off to college"
geez i haven't boothed since the dawn of time
but MY EXAMS ARE OVER

“So when you ask ‘Is something wrong?’
I think 'You're damn right there is but we can't talk about it now.
No, we can't talk about it now.’
Today, I’ve decided to partake in the International Day of Silence, which falls on Friday 16th April. The silence represents how thousands of teenagers worldwide have to suffer in silence due to the bullying they endure as a result of their sexuality or gender status, for simply being who they are. Now, all you bright sparks out there will have noticed that today is not Friday 16th April. Because I had to spend the night at friend’s house last night I decided to take the vow of silence today, and if there’s two things i cannot stand it’s injustice and rudeness so I simply couldn’t bring myself to spend the entire night at someone else’s house and ignore them for the duration. So, as punishment for missing the official Day of Silence I’m not allowing myself to communicate through any medium, including our great, vast internet, bar this message of course. So it’s over and out from me until 12:16 PM tomorrow.1 commentApril 17th, 2010

I really see you upside down
But my brain knows better
It picks you up and turns you around
Turns you around, turns you around"

"It's like a book elegantly bound
But in a language you can't read just yet"
Spent the best part of today in school revising French. Who would have guessed such a supposedly eloquent and beautiful language would soon become the biggest burden in my life over the past two years.4 commentsApril 15th, 2010

"All I can offer are farmer chords,
these simple rhymes and you painted in words
You can sing this when alone
or whistle it through your teeth and it
will feel like home no matter how far you'll be"
This, Dailybooth, is who I while away my Wednesday afternoons with. She is typically found roaming free on a farm, or raiding the Polish sections in supermarkets. She also believes that all Concord flights were equipped with a panda named "Mr Nougat" who would snuggle all passengers who were unable to sleep. FACT.1 commentApril 14th, 2010

“Don’t judge a book by the
size of it’s wrist.
Hurry, hurry
Are you undecided?
Hurry, hurry, hurry”
Wow, this booth's later than Juno's period. But yeah, a few of the books I've read recently.
Stay classy kids.2 commentsApril 13th, 2010

Twisting my stomach into knots.
That my tongue has tied off."
Sorry Mr. Pot Noodle Sir, but you look and taste like raw sewage.0 commentsMarch 14th, 2010

About
I speak pig Latin. I point out oxymorons. I think that meat is disgusting. I read a hell of a lot. I have a shoe allergy - they’re claustrophobic and pointless. I think that, despite common misconception, German CAN be romantic and frequently is. I think that ‘The Silence of the Lambs’ is the solemn most beautiful piece of literature ever written, despite the alarmed looks that I receive whenever I announce that. I’m a scientist by nature, but am fascinated by philosophy and re-evaluating what we, as humans, consider the ‘norm’. I can’t spell for toffee - as you’ve probably noticed. I recurrently exclaim “this is the best song ever” or something similar. I adore camping and British summers. I follow the pancasila, but wouldn’t consider myself a Buddhist. I play video games - badly, the completion of a game leads to the equivalent amount of unexplainable pleasure as I am sure mothers experience on being handed their first born. Nothing irritates me more than the word ‘Random’. I frequently break headphones rapidly. I sold my life to the internet years ago - pirates FTW. My handwriting is completely illegible and somewhat resembles Gujarati. I live my life according to the lyrics of ‘Noah and the Whale’ songs. I’m a NerdFighter – go judge me. I think that Ben Gibbard is the best thing since sliced bread and find it exceptionally cute when he can’t remember the words to ‘Thriller’ - despite the fact they’re taped to the top of his guitar. I will also put my hands up and admit I’m more than slightly obsessed with the two little Canadian birds Tee- Tee and Sa-Sa. Oh and did I mention I am the biggest pacifist going; I don’t condone any form of violence and have very strong and clear views our little, pointless rendezvous in the Middle East. I have just used the pronoun “I” more times in that hardly concise introduction, than the average narcissist does in a lifetime. That was copied straight from my Facebook, cos I’m unoriginal like that. Chin-Chin.
