The last couple days have been pretty productive. I bought a motorcycle that I tore apart for parts for my other bike. Spent my one day off this week, tearing every bit off to inventory and decide what I'm keeping, selling, and tossing. Then, we spent the next evening pulling the engine out of the old one, and transplanting the new one into that. Tomorrow we finish up and see if it starts and how well it runs.
Went for a walk today with my mom and dog. Brought the camera along to get some pictures while there's no snow on the ground and we have nice weather. I think I was joking about jumping to freak mom out.
Going to see Avatar for the second time tonight. We are seeing it in IMAX again, it was cool the first time, so seeing it on a regular screen would just seem disappointing I think.
Normally I'm not a big fan of sitting in the uncomfortable theatre chairs, with all kinds of people around making noise, and the smells of the crap people cover their popcorn in wafting over. I'm more of one of those, at home on my own couch kinda movie watchers. But then I don't watch a whole lot of movies because I get easily distracted.
Got up this morning to go out with some friends for breakfast. My friend is flying back to Ontario tonight so we all wanted to say goodbye. And Cora's is amazing so we figured breakfast was a good idea.
I think I've decided to dig out some of my fathers old film cameras and pick up some film this afternoon. I haven't really shot many pictures on film, expect in disposable cameras and when I was a kid. Should be fun to see all the different style pictures they take.
My shifts are getting late at work. We rotate our scheduals so that everyone has the opportunity to work days and evenings. I prefer to work mornings, 7-3 or 9-5, but I'm there from 11:30-7:30 all week. Next week is later. Oh well, I'll just have to booth later at night or early in the morning.
Average Sunday for me. Worked most of the day, came home and just did some chores.
Gave my puppy Benji a bath tonight. He is pretty much used to it now, and lets me wash him without much of a fuss, but still seems to think the blow dryer is a game.
Otherwise practising guitar and watching the Olympics. Go Canada!!
Just finished cleaning up the house. Having some friends over tonight for an impromptu party! Woot!! One of my friends is flying in from Waterloo University tonight, and we haven't seen each other since New Years, so it should be fun.
Played The Game of Life today with my sister @ChelseaCanuel. That was fun, but she kicked my butt.
Also, I went into work this morning, unsure if I had swapped my shift with someone or not. Turns out once I got there that I had. Worked for an hour then headed home. Don't you hate when you drag yourself out of bed to find out you rushed around for nothing?
Feels like it's almost time to pass out. Just finished making some fried rice and veggies to bring to work tomorrow, so the whole house smells like food which just makes me want to eat more. But bringing lunch to work means I buy a lot less junk food, eat better, and save money. Plus other than veggie subs at subway, there's only one place nearby that serves much without meat, and I'm getting a little bored of the same things.
