    Ok, little update.
    I moved house. There was a big argument at my old one and my university managed to get me some emergency accommodation, which is looking more like permanent accommodation than anything at the moment.

    I got a job in January and, temporary as it was, it was good to actually meeting other people and being needed in a team.

    I'm really looking forward to next year when I go abroad. This past academic year felt like a bit of a wash, I miss having regular assignments and being given homework - I will probably resent this a couple of months down the line :P

    I've restarted learning to play the piano. It's been great learning something new, discovering new sounds, reading about music, etc... and to think that my first booth was with a guitar that I could hardly play at the time, lol.

    I'm working on an acoustic version of the song Numb (Linkin Park) but it sounds so different from the original that I'm starting to wonder if it's really any good.

    Also, I watched a few clips from the X factor and I really enjoyed the acoustic version of Hit me baby one more time :D In general, I think acoustic covers of ultra pop songs turn out very well, they make me focus more on the lyrics and the melody than on the way they're delivered (through the mouth of one sexy highschooler in the case of Britney Spears)

    It's too dark to take a picture with my webcam so I tried tweaking a few sliders here and there and then oooh look I'm purple! *snap*

    I remember there being some webcams that even let you interact with a virtual image on screen (pushing colour blobs around with your head as one of the things I remember doing) Does anyone have a webcam that does that ? :O
