God did an awesome thing today. It was something so small, but it really showed me how well He knows me. This is proof that God has an intimate relationship with each and every one of us! And what's greater is that He wants that relationship whether we call out to Him or curse His name. Here's what happened:
Today, I was in a foul mood from little sleep and difficulty at work. As I was putting out our potted Bromeliads, I said a prayer and rebuked the enemy in what should have been my first resort to offer a solution to my mood. Immediately after I called on Him, I felt something on my hand. I shook my hand and a frog landed on the ground... Being the squeamish lady that I am, I jumped up and yelled haha. I asked a couple of co-workers if they would take the frog outside but no one would, so I grabbed the little guy and ran outside, squealing the entire time. This, of course, caused the customers and other employees to gawk at me ha. And what's worse, when I went to drop the poor frog, he wouldn't come off of my hand! At that point I was flailing my arms and definitely having a moment. Finally he came off and I went back inside. And, wouldn't you know it, I was instantly out of my bad mood.
I just had to sit back and laugh. Truly, our God knows EXACTLY what we need (trust me, I did not request a frog as a solution to my problem!), even though it may not be what we think that we need. And He will provide! And He does answer prayers! How beautiful is that?!
