i was having a conversation with nadine, @miyaspace and kelly today about summer and we were saying that summer 2010 was a little crap because everyone hyped it up and was saying that its going to be the best summer EVER etc and then when it came around the weather wasnt amazing, nobody really did anything and it didnt live up to our expectations.
so we have a plan that goes against planning. we all decided that summer 2011 will be completely spontaneous. nobody makes plans more than a few days before, and nobody hypes it up, because then if we have low expectations, we're more likely to enjoy it :D
anyway, so i decided to make my booth look all summery by changing the colours. i needed something to brighten up my day anyway, due to the things that have been going on.
speaking of that, i just wanted to thank all of my amazing friends for being there for me even when i could tell i was getting on your nerves with all my moaning and doom&gloom. and thanks to my AMAZING mother for being so supportive about the bad family experiences.

have you ever wondered if all our memories have been placed there by someone else, and so you aren't who you think you are? i think this could happen, because you know when you think you remember something from when you're REALLY young and your parents say 'actually, we told you about that, you just remember us telling you, not the actual event'? well there's proof its possible.
or whether you've had some bad trauma earlier in your life and so your body's defense mechanism is to erase those memories and replace them with new ones, and this makes you a completely different person? (i would say which film this refers to, but its a bit of a spoiler if you havent seen it yet)
or whether someone else is not only controlling your past, but also your future? (the adjustment bureau advert made me think of this one whilst i was writing the bits above)
